Ms. Dianne Martin

Ms. Dianne Martin was born October 8, 1952 in Jackson, TN the daughter of Mary Martin and Fred Chandler. She passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at the age of 66 years. Ms. Martin was a resident of Saginaw, MI. She moved to Saginaw, MI from Jackson, TN in 1968 and was a high school graduate of Saginaw Public Schools. Dianne was member of Faith Harvest Church under the leadership of Bishop Ronald E. Chipp. She was employed by Helping Hands and previously employed by other health care facilities. Dianne was very humble and dedicated to her clients. Dianne enjoyed being around her family and friends and “LOVED” taking care of her grandkids who referred to her as “Nana” and “GG”. She enjoyed cooking, baking and going to concerts. Ms. Martin leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Tamiko (Anthony) Martin and Katrina Martin; one son, Kareem Martin, all of Saginaw, MI; seven grandchildren, Sean, Anthony “Buda”, Shakayla, Demeyia, De’Marco, Tamia and Tamirah, all of Saginaw, MI; three great-grandchildren, Di’Sean Vidal Wilson, Dre’Von Raymond Long, Jr. and Malaya Skye Dianne Humes; step-mother, Birdie Chandler; sisters, Gayle (Richard) Upchurch, Columbus, OH, Marion Michelle Hill, Ypsilanti, MI, Cora White, Gary, IN and very special sister cousin, Mary “Tutti” (Ken) Jones, Saginaw, MI; brothers, Larry and Darryl Hill, both of Pontiac, MI, Andre, Detrich, Todd and Jerome Chandler, all of Louisville, KY; special auntie, Shirley Tatum; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Willie Ray Daniels, Phyllis Scarbrough, Barb and Leon McGhee and Michele Little. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (James) Hill and Fred Chandler; grandson, Sean V. Wilson; siblings, Barry “Bo” Hill, Gloria (Glen) Modest and Pam Collier. The family would like to express special thanks to, her employer, Helping Hands and Hospice, Healthsource-Saginaw and staff. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Pastor Ronald E. Chipp will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
