Mills, Mr. Frank, Jr. "Old Dude" Saginaw, Michigan Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church 120 N. 15th Street. Pastor Vincent McMillon will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Browne's Mortuary 441 N. Jefferson Ave. on Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle and great friend to many went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Frank Mills was born April 20, 1942 in Panola, Ala. to Curtis and Lucy Mills. He moved to Saginaw in the early sixties. Mr. Mills retired with more than 33 years of service from Grey Iron Foundry. He was a member of UAW Local 668. After retirement, he was employed by Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church for five years. He was a great man. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life. Mr. Mills leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Elvia Lee Mills. Surviving besides his wife are five children, Frank (Vivian) Mills II, Carlis (Samuel) Jackson both of Saginaw, Mich., Dr. Bernadette Anderson, M.D. of Columbus, Oh., Franklyn Mills and Wade Mills of Cleveland, Oh. He was "Poppa" to four grandchildren, Douglas Barnes II, Courtney Barnes, Taeya Mills and Braelon Mills; 11 brothers, Curtis (Katie) Mills, Willie (Almeta) Mills, Samuel (Jeridean) Mills, Cleveland (Brenda) Mills and Ned Mills all of Saginaw, Mich., James (Barbara) Mills, Bobby JoAnn) Mills, Timothy (Linda) Mills, Clinton (Lethal) Mills, William (Elizabeth) Mills all of Livingston Ala., and Bradley (Rosiland) Mills of Epes, Ala.; four sisters, Onner (Robert) Little and Marion Mills both of Saginaw, Helen (Tommy) Thomas and Allie B. Brown of Livingston, Ala.; his mother and father-in-law, Mattie and Albert Orr of Saginaw, Mich.; four brothers-in-law and their spouses, William (Alma) Duke, Randall (Janie) Rivers, Johnny (Phyllis) Sharper and Keith (Alesia) Richardson all of Saginaw, Mich.; two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Joyce (Eddie) Jones of Saginaw, Mich. and Carole (Artis) Golston of Hooks, Texas; a special sister-in-law, Lois Mills; one loving god-daughter Roslynn Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved him very dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Lucy Mills.
