Ms. Latasha Genette Frazier

Latasha G. Frazier was born September 5, 1976 in Saginaw, Michigan, the lovely daughter of Gerldine Frazier and Joseph Luton. She passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the age of 46 years. Ms. Frazier was a lifetime resident of Saginaw, Michigan and a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She was a caring and dependable baby sitter and enjoyed taking care of elderly people. She had a love for doing hair and watching her favorite TV shows and movies such as Good Times and Color Purple. Latasha was very protective of her kids and did not trust “nobody” with them. She was an easy person to talk too and will truly be missed. She leaves four children to cherish many memories, Quvail Frazier, Montesha, Monte-Anna and Lemonte Davis; bonus children, DonQuavis Lindsay, Tarea Holmes and Sa’Vone Osborn; step-children, Lemonte Ramon-Davis, Jimmy Truss “Boo-Boo”, Antwon Hardy, Delvonque Smothers and she was a mother figure to many more. She also leaves ten grandchildren, AuBree Lindsay, Zyir Lindsay, Adream and Adore Frazier, Tarea Holmes, Jr., Nasir Davis, Lemonte Davis “Papa” IV, Sa’Viyah and Demontrae Hardman “Jr.” and Sa’Niyah Lemonte Davis “Tuter”; her mother and father, Geraldine Frazier and Joseph Luton; grandmother, Lucille Frazier; sisters, Roslyn Frazier, Lelia L. Faulk, Lonnie and Tinisha Yolonda Frazier, Angela Luton and Latrese Luton; brothers, Ronell, Melvin Lavar, Williams “Lil Earl” and Cordell Frazier; aunts, MaryAnn Frazier, Edna Youngblood, Sherly, Anne, Martha Frazier, Martha Lee Sherman, Annie Motga “Carrie Mississippi”, Alena Gaskew, Cindy Parker, Willma Brown, Dorthera Gaskew and Hazel Warren and many more; uncles, Jerry, Leon and Robert Frazier, Melvin Brown, Charles Buckners and Leroy Shephard; nieces, Erica, Shalena, Shatoya, ShaNiyah, Elisha, Aumaria, TateAnna, Tavianna and Jamaria; nephews, Ronell, Eric, JaQuantae, Cordell, Melvin ”Jr.”, Dramontae “Tiggs”, Marcus, Joseph Anthony Bell and others; favorite cousins, Dave Favorite, Micheal Frazier and Angela Frazier, Marilyn Favorite, Katrina Carter, Kenny Woodhouse, Genette Favorite, Marta Sherman, Mozell Bentlay, Lonnie Ray “Otis”, Avaris and Lisa Warren and others; sisters-in-law, Sharice Byrd, Patricia Jones and Octious Frazier; many other relatives and friends including Elaine and Laniece Youngblood, Marshall Knox “Tottie”, Banisha Hamilton, Gena Hardy, Kendra and Monyette Hatter, and Ladetra Parker. Ms. Latasha Genette Frazier was preceded in death by her special friend, Lemonte Davis and Latisha Smith;; brother, Ronell Frazier; uncle Pastor Camie Frazier; aunts, Joyce Youngblood Woodhouse, Cora-Mae Pat Swilley and Virgia Gaskew; cousins, Tanisha Frazier, Larry Faulker, Jeffrey (Bodean) Favorite and Johnny Frazier. The family would like to express special thanks to Ann Arbor Medical Team, Michigan Cardiovascular Institute, Ascension St. Mary’s Medical Team, Henry Ford Medical Team and everyone who reached out to the family. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Pastor James Hodge officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until time of service.
