Ms. Mable Lou Haley

Mable Lou Haley was born October 28, 1946 in Berry, Alabama to Willie and Mary (Cole) Haley. She passed on Thursday, February 15, 2018 after a long hard fight. Now our mother has received her wings at the age of 71 years. Ms. Haley was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Saginaw, MI. She enjoyed working in her garden, fishing, cooking and being with her family. She had a beautiful personality, was kind hearted, loyal and dependable. She was a hard worker with great work ethics. Mable was employed by Pennacle Foods. She was formerly employed as a sales representative at Fashion Bug, worked at Industrial Coating, served as a Nutritional Aide at Longstreet School and a packer at Vlasic Foods, Inc. She loved her daughters and dearly loved her grandchildren. No more pain but, an Angel of God. She leaves to cherish her lovely memory, two daughters, Melissa Haley and Tammie Haley both of Saginaw, MI; five grandchildren, Anthony Patterson, Jay-Quarivus Haley, Terria Patterson, ZaQuaveyon Smith and Da’Maronyon Haley; six great-grandchildren Amilyah Haley, DaVarion Patterson, Jordan and Jaelah Haley, Tamira and Sophia Patterson; two sisters, Marie Pipkin (John) and Bobbie Haley; two brothers, Billy (Shirley) Haley and Thomas Haley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special friend, Vera Watts and best friend, Shirley Haley. Ms. Haley was preceded in death by her loving parents, Willie and Mary Haley; two older sisters, Lela (Micheal) Erwin and Ester (Robert) Whitson; two great-grandchildren, Jaelyn B. Haley and Queeyn Lockett. The family would like to express special thanks to St. Francis Nursing Home, to all family and friends that visited our mom during her illness, Bethel Church, Mr. David Hall her Class Leader, Hospice Care and Evans & Browne’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 535 Cathay Street. Pastor Dennis Laffoon will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607 on Sunday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Family will be present to greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
