Ms. Mary Ann Willis Napier

Our loving Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend Ms. Mary Ann (Willis) Napier passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024 at the age of 72 years. Mary was born in Elyria, Ohio on March 13, 1952 to Junior and Mary Willis. She was a loving, caring, beautiful woman inside and out. She was kind, and loving with a caring spirit for all her children, friends and cousins. She would always have a house full of kids. Mary was a member of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church. She worked faithfully at Heartland Healthcare for 30 years before retiring. She always loved careing, and helping out any one that she could. In her spare time. She loved to go shopping and was a very fashionable woman with her own special dressing technique. She loved her makeup.. She just loved on her family and friends. Ms. Napier leaves to cherish many memories five children, Shuntia Harrison, Defiance, OH, Sharronda Willis, Latonya (Brett) Willis, Eric (Janaya) Napier and Derrick (Chereka) Napier all of Saginaw; 11 grandchildren, Levi Harrison IV, Tierra Harrison both of Ohio, Jerome (Cassandra) Barbee, Jr., De’Vrion Jones, Daquarious, Paris and Brittany Jones, Essence and Eric Napier, Jr., DeShawn Strother and Derrick Napier, Jr; one sister, Gloria Jean Willis; one brother, Gregory (Whitney) Willis; god-daughters, Jo Ann Thompson and Melissa Jackson both of Saginaw; one aunt, Ollie V. Rhinehart; one uncle, Martell (Dorothy) Harris; special nieces, Tatasha (Willis) Thomas (more like a daughter) and Tatiyana Jackson; special nephews, Gregory Willis Davis and James Willis; special cousin, Patsy Willis and Patricia Jackson; other relatives and friends including special friends, Anita Burnett, Vonda Coleman, Doris Jones, Claudia Tompson, Jackie Riley, Ida Johnson, Janice Parham and Levi Harrison III. Mary Ann Napier was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Junior Willis. The family would like to express special thanks to Tatasha Willis Thomas, Quangi Glenn, Sherry Hammond, Beverly Frierson, Michelle Macon, Covenant Cooper 3 North and 6 North staff, Hoyt and Well Spring Nursing Home and Hospice. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024 at DVD In Ministry, 2312 S. Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Theodore Watson, Host Pastor. Pastor James Hodge will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI, 48601. Visitation will take place on Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.
