Mother Agnes Morris Lipscomb Bond

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Mother Agnes Bond was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 74 years. She was born September 23, 1943 to Mr. Simon and Mrs. Olivia Morris in Brundidge, Alabama. She was employed by Delphi for 35 years, a member of U.A. W. Local 668. Mother Bond was a faithful member of Coleman Temple Church of God In Christ, which is now the World Outreach Campus. She worshipped there for 40 plus years. She enjoyed faithfully attending Sunday school class; she was also a faithful member of the Christian Women Council and the Women Department. Mother Bond was a member of the Mothers’ Board, and a member of Team Omnipresent. Mother Bond’s passion was shopping for bible study material, reading and cooking. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a strong independent woman who took great pride in her home and children. Mother Agnes Bond leaves to cherish many precious memories, two daughters, Evangelist Sandra (Pastor Hurley) Coleman, Jr. of Saginaw, MI and Valerie “Niece” Harris of Belleville, MI; one son, Deandrea Lipscomb of Westland, MI; special nephew, Nathan Morris, “Big Brother” of Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren, Minister Natoya Coleman of Glassboro, NJ, Elder Hurley “T.J.” III (Tanyika) Coleman of Cincinnati, OH, Niesha Harris of Lathrup Village, MI and Tasha Coleman of York, PA; three great-grandchildren, Aniya. Emilio and Hurley “H.J.” IV; she also leaves her cherished and loving sisters, Annie Henley and Janie Coston both of Saginaw and Savannah Caffie of Brundidge, AL; one brother, Willie (Della) Morris, Saginaw; one sister-in-law, Julia Morris of Saginaw and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mother was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Olivia Morris; her husband, Larry Lipscomb; one sister, Mother Nora Fenn; one sister-in-law, Inez Morris; two brothers, Willie L. Morris and Kyser Morris; three brothers-in-law, Deacon James Henley, Jadie Caffie and Charlie Fenn. The family extends special thanks to her caregivers, Janie Coston, Annie Henley, Paulette Terrell, Linda Doshie, Beverly Faulk and Covenant Hospital staff. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at World Outreach Campus, 2405 Bay Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Pastor Hurley Coleman, Jr. will officiate with interment in Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48638. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607 on Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
