Mrs. Andrea Marie Jones

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, Missionary Andrea Marie Jones was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 49 years. Andrea was born October 21, 1968 in Saginaw, MI to Pastor Leonard Burns, Sr. and Betty Smith. Mrs.Jones was a graduate of Bridgeport Spaulding High School Class of “1987”. She was on the Dean's List at Great Lakes Junior College where she earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She was employed for STARS for 13 years and was a dedicated member of Victorious Believers Ministries for over 18 years where she served in the choir, the Worship Team, Marriage Enrichment Class, Intake Ministry, and the Women’s Department. Andrea’s passions were, singing, writing, cooking, and decorating. She also enjoyed crafting, shopping, laughing, joking and spending time with family and friends. Andrea leaves to cherish many precious memories, her husband, Anthony C. Jones, Saginaw, MI; four daughters, Trikina (Korrey) Rhodes, Martina Cisneros, Quiana (Jamar) Bowlson, Sophia Anderson; three sons, Anthony (Audrey) Burns, Anthony (Melissa) Jones, and Christopher (Tashira) Jones; grandchildren, Cetriauna Gibbs, Cedric Gibbs, Jr., Terry Donald, Jr., Serena Brazil Anderson, Jaylen Cisneros, Jonathan, Journey-Myfaith Marshall, Aniyah Rhodes, Aaliyah Rhodes, Alanah Rhodes, Kiyah Burns, Kaden Burns, Markell Jones, Makayla Jones, LaShonda Bowlson, Eric Bowlson and Josiah; mothers, Betty (Lloyd) Beemon, Ypsilanti, MI and Diana Burns, Saginaw, MI; sister, Tiffany (Rev. Lucan) Hardgrave, Dermott, AR; three brothers, Leonard Burns, Jr., Deondre (Adriann) Burns and Damen (Evelyn) Beeman, Dumus, AR; mother-in-law, Bonnie Allen; sisters-in-law, Denise (Hank) Marshall and Linda (John) Jasper; brothers-in-law, Willie Jones, Jr., Derrell (Keyla) Jones and Craig (Tanya) Jones; many other relatives and friends, including, seven nieces; eight nephews; 15 aunts; nine uncles; special friends, Shawn (Daphne) Bivens, Doris Swilley, Colleen Smith, Sharon Hill, Melissa White, James Perkins, Kelly Anderson, and her mentor, First Lady Kenyatta Pryor. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her father, Pastor Leonard Burns; brothers, Craig Burns and Noah Beeman. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Victorious Believers Ministries C.O.G.I.C., 624 South Outer Drive, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Christopher V. Pryor will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607 on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will be present from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
