Ms. Anta 'Nayja J. Archibald

Anta’Nayja passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her residence at the age of 16. She was born on May 15, 2009, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Jasmine Lipsey and Antoine Archibald Sr. Anta’Nayja was a beautiful young soul whose smile, kindness, and loving spirit touched the hearts of many. Though her time here was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. Anta’Nayja attended Millet Learning Center from preschool through the 11th grade, where she earned many awards in recognition of her achievements and progress. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and watching her favorite shows. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Jasmine (Donte) Lipsey; her father, Antoine (Kisha) Archibald; five sisters, A’Nyra and AnaKelis Archibald, D’Auri Laury, Myeisha, and Raven; and two brothers, Tanorris and Walterious. She is also survived by her grandparents, Denise (Willie) Lipsey and Kenneth Amos & Alesia Archibald. She leaves a host of loving cousins: Kenneth Jr., Jamarion, Kennedy, Kenzsley, Brayden, and Kayden Lipsey; Terril Jr., K’Den, and Ka’Maya Archibald; and many others. She is further survived by her great-grandparents, Johnnie Mae Amos and Cynthia Johnson; her aunts and uncles, Trenette, Keohnna, Lashawnta, Monquise, Devondria, LaTeasha, Heaven, Kenneth, Davario, Evontae, DaQuan, Donovan, Davon, Corvontae, Kentorion, K’Den, and Terril; and her great-aunts and great-uncles, Nicole, April, Krystle, Robin, Deiadra, Katrina, Marilyn, Darrick, Vincente, Dana, and Jamal. Anta’Nayja also leaves her godparents, Dai’Quiona, Ta’Teiona, Ro’Neisha, Ramon, Anthony, and Marquavis; her special friends, Jah’lyse, Punkin, and Tyler; and her special cousins, Pynk, J’ion, Lil Nikki, Marion, Jaylen, Jayla, Ja’Lil, and Jakala, along with many other relatives and loved ones who will cherish her memory forever. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48697.
