Mrs. Audrionne Garrett Williams

Mrs. Audrionne “Audrey” Garrett-Williams, daughter of the late Audrey Lee and Ruth (Dillon) Lee was born December 17, 1938 in Columbia, Mississippi. She quietly departed this life on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Toni & Trish House, Auburn, Michigan. Audrionne attended the Catholic Schools of Saginaw County and was a graduate of St. Joseph High. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Owens Chapel Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member. She was united in Holy Matrimony to August Williams on July 29, 2005. “Audrey” was a longtime resident of Saginaw, Michigan where she worked in various capacities for well over 50 years. She began her career with Saginaw General Hospital where she dutifully served for more than 10 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She then continued to work for the School Board of Saginaw before retiring. She was a very caring, honest and giving person. She exceled as a homemaker, and had a passion for interior/exterior decorating. She loved planning DIY home improvement projects and planting flowers. Her pleasant charm and demeanor allowed her to easily thrive in any social setting. She loved getting dressed up and going to public events, or hosting friends and family at her home. She lived her life based on the character traits and moral values that were instilled in her by her parents, which she passed on to her children. Family was very important to her, and she really enjoyed the times she spent with her children, grandchildren, siblings, and other family members. Her generous spirit and pleasant personality gained her the love and respect of many people, and her influence will forever impact the lives of all who knew her. Mrs. Garrett-Williams is survived by her husband, August Williams; two children, son, Chris Garrett; daughter, Sharon Jackson; sister, Janice Kubacki; brother, Weldon Lee; seven grandchildren Henry, Shamela, Quintella, Keisha, Sierra, Rashaad and Cherish Jackson; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shelia Williams-Woods; 13 nieces and seven nephews, Quinette Tanner, Christell Lee, Gabrielle Genwright, Marcello Foster, Ellis Lee, Ahmad Prince Ali, Xavier, Tonja, Charles Jr., Rashawn, Serina and Tosha Lee, Megan Reed, Jesus Gonzalez, Terri Galaviz, Chariclea Sims, Tony Lee, Adrienne Mobley-Bowie (Carolyn), Delfie and Sherry Bowie and many other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Audrionne “Audrey” Garrett-Williams was preceded in death by a son, Henry Jackson, Jr.; siblings, Jackie Seay and Charles Lee; grandchildren, Andre Smith and Rashenda Jackson; niece, Latoya Haynes; nephews, Remont and Soloman Lee, and Montravius Haynes, many other relatives and friends. Family hour will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., with the funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Johnie F. Edwards will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
