Mr. Azikiwe Demarcus Presley fondly known as “Zeek”, our beloved grandson, son, brother, nephew and cousin of Dayton, Ohio formerly of Saginaw, MI age 29 years made his transition into his eternal rest on Monday December 28th, 2015. He was born July 4, 1986 in Saginaw, MI, the son of William Morgan of Saginaw, MI and Andrea Brummell of Guyana, South America. Azikiwe was extremely creative, talented, gifted, humorous and fun loving. He loved being with his family and friends. Azikiwe accepted the Lord at a very young age. He was affiliated with Calvary United Methodist Church of Saginaw, MI before he relocated to Dayton, Ohio. Zeek leaves to cherish his memory; grandparents Raymond and Oslin Brummell-Presley who raised him and grandmother; Claire Morgan of Saginaw, MI; brothers, Kwame Presley of Saginaw, MI, Ronald Frazier of San Antonio, Texas, Vernon Spivey of Saginaw, MI, Bill Spivey of Saginaw, MI, Joe Morgan of Kalamazoo, MI, Corey Morgan of Kalamazoo, MI, DeMarkus Morgan of Dallas, Texas and Duran Morgan of Saginaw, MI; sisters, Ashaki Presley of Dallas Texas, Rockeandrea Frazier of Veeland, MI Akili Jackson of Saginaw, MI, Kanyea Ferguson of Detroit, Michigan, Latrisha Spivey of Saginaw, MI, and MyEisha Morgan of Saginaw, MI; great-grandfather, Lisle Brummell; a host of uncles and aunts including special uncles and aunts, Ossie (Patricia) Brummell, Lennox (Avril) Brummell, Osrene Ferguson, Samuel Presley, Claudine Cooper, Dorothy (William) Jones, Hattye Tharpe, Shirley (James) York, Troy Presley and Yvonne (Marshall) Thomas and Patrick (Gloria) Williams; a host of nieces, nephews and special cousins; Sheldon Brummell and Kandyce Williams; other relatives and friends including, the Walks, Woods, Williams, Smiths, Henrys, Cordwells, Bairds, Greene, Benn, Chalmers, Eastmans, Roberts, Coopers, Herods, Perrys, Presleys, Roaches, Durant's, Thomas, Grants and Mayers families; special friends, LaShai Wood and Tyshawn Carroll, both of Dayton, Ohio and Tyrone Chambers of Saginaw, MI; godmother, Gwendolyn Goodman of Charlotte, North Carolina. Azikiwe was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Morgan; great grandmother, Lurline Brummell; brother, Jerome Brummell; uncles, Osmond Brummell and Terry Morgan and cousin, Derrick Nash. The family wishes to express our gratitude in our time of bereavement, Azikiwe left fond memories that will always be cherished by his family and friends. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2016, at Ames United Methodist Church, 801 State Street. Pastor Scott Lindenberg will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
