Mr. Benjamin Alexander Robinson "Moochie"

Absent from us, present with the Lord is his victory. A journey complete, a life well spent. A lasting legacy. Sunrise: January 20, 1950 Sunset: September 30, 2018 Our devoted Benjamin Robinson "Moochie" departed this life on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 68 years. He was born in Swift, Missouri to the late A.B. and Ozella (Strong) Robinson. He was employed with Malleable Iron Foundry, G.M. for many years. Benjamin had a passion for fishing. He enjoyed watching sports, game shows and movies with his son Ben, Jr. He was a devoted father and grandfather. To know him was to love him. He was so happy and full of life. Whenever he was around, one always knew they were in for a good time. He loved life and his family. Benjamin leaves to cherish precious memories a loving daughter and son, Lolita Robinson and Benjamin Robinson, Jr., both of Saginaw, MI; four sisters, Anna (Will) Ali of Los Angeles, CA, Norma Russell, Marilyn (Fred) Dixon both of Saginaw, MI and Teresa Ford of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Edward Lewis (Linda) Gamble of Racine, WI, Claude “Eddie” Robinson and Larry (Bethany) Robinson both of Saginaw; special grandsons, Mario Robinson and Tayon Peeples; special granddaughter, Elexia Robinson; special great-grandson, Lamar Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. and Ozella Robinson; his wife of many years, Myra; two brothers, Danny and John Robinson. The family of Benjamin Robinson would like to give a special thanks to Davita Dialysis on Hoyt Avenue in Saginaw; Dr. Norman of University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI; A&D Home Care and ComForcare of Saginaw, MI. Special thanks to his caregiver, Gary Russell and sister, Norma Russell for all the love and care that they provided. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church, 2930 Janes Avenue., Saginaw, MI 48601, Rev. Paul E. Broaddus, host pastor. Pastor Robert Allen will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607 on Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
