Mrs. Betty Musherrah Hasan

Mrs. Betty Musherrah Hasan passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the age of 71 years. She was born August 14, 1948 in Cottonport, LA the daughter of the late Oscar and Gertrude (Dobison) Johnson. Betty worked for Saginaw County for 25 years as a nurse at the Saginaw County Hospital. She was also a supervisor at the Saginaw County Juvenile Center for 20 years where she was the first African-American female supervisor. Mrs. Hasan leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ahmad S. Hasan, Saginaw, MI; her children, Linda Hasan-Holden, Fenesia Hasan, Alan Hasan and Cariton Hasan; grandchildren, Tony Hasan-Holden, Angelous Hasan-Holden, Willie L. Morris, Jr., Cynthia Morris, Earl Morris and Miles Williams; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eula Hatter and Margaret Johnson; brothers, Rollin Johnson and Collin Johnson; sister-in-law, Elaine (Houston) Jackson; brother-in-law, Tyrone (Dorothy) Bryant; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Paxton and Brenda Cooper, Khalil and Mariam Aziz. She was preceded in death by, her parents, Oscar and Gertrude Johnson; Mammie Jones, Cariton Johnson, Oscar and Austin Johnson, Earl Johnson, Albert Johnson and Brenda Reynolds; mother and father-in-law, Ophelia and Johnny Bryant. The family of Betty M. Hasan wishes to express their gratitude for the many acts of Kindness shown during their hours of bereavement.
