Mr. Bobby Lee "Bobby Luv" Jones Jr.

Bobby Lee Jones, Jr. was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 16, 1985 the son of Bobby, Jr. and Sheena Jones. He passed away on February 18, 2019 at the age of 33 years. “Bobby Luv” attended House of Prayer Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School Class of 2004. He was employed at SVRC, the Frankenmuth Hotel, Ruben Daniel Life Long Learning Center and he also worked with Ring A Bell for many years. He loved people and enjoyed laughter. Bobby was always seeing the good in everyone, and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed playing games with his nephew and help clean up the neighborhood. Mr. Jones is survived by his father, Bobby Lee Jones, Sr.; his loving mother, Sheena Annette Jones; sister, Monique Jones (Brian Neal); step-sisters, Shya Jones and Nikeyttia Jones; step-brothers, Davonn Jones and Antwann Swilley; one nephew, Marcell; many aunts including special aunts, Ruby McCoy, Linda McCall, (Big Alex) Willie Jones and Lela (Robert, Sr.) Thomas; great-aunts, Geraldine Burrell, Mrs. Lula McDowell and Catherine Howard; godmother, Minister Nadine Harrison; godfather, Charlie Lawrence; many cousins, many other relatives and friends including special relatives and friends, cousins, Whitney Jones, Robert Thomas, Jr., Alex McCall, Jr., Crystal Jones, Mary McCall and Eulani McDowell; friends, Antione Henderson, John Jackson, Ebony and Demarcus Nelson, Sharon, Nesa Baas, Patrick Martinez, Scott Sayers and Darvetta Jackson. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Frances and Willie Lee Jones, and Eddie (Jack) Crisp; great-grandparents, Eula and Henry Weddle; an uncle, Gregory Crisp; aunts, ShaWanda Crisp and Ms. Judy Swickord. The family extends special thanks to the McCall family, the House of Prayer Church family, Covenant, University of Michigan Hospital, his sister, Monique and also Mitchell Smith who were there from beginning to the end. To his grandmother, Lizzie Weddle, Brian Neal, uncles, Michael (Denise) Crisp and Christopher Crisp, Patricia Williams, Geraldine (James) Burrell, Lula McDowell Whitney Kimon and everyone that showered us with gifts of love and prayers. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at House Of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 2233 King Road, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Walter McCall will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607 on Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Family will be present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to greet friends.
