Mr. Brent Crittendon

Brent Crittendon, our beloved son, father, brother and uncle went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 45 years. Brent was born on October 11, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Patricia (Parks) Hatfield and Charles Crittendon. He attended Life in Christ Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Dennis Cotton. He was a graduate of Saginaw High School Class of 1990 and continued his education at Delta College. He was employed at Wolverine Human Services. Brent had a special love for his two sons, Brent, Jr. and Braelen, he enjoyed working with children and loved spending time with family, and friends. Mr. Crittendon leaves to cherish many memories, his sons, Brent Jr. and Braelen Crittendon; his mother, Patricia Hatfield; stepfather, Henry Hatfield; step-mother, Gail Crittendon; sisters, Charlotte Parks, Sherenia Parks, Passion Crittendon; step-sister, Charlene Hopskin; brothers, Charles Parks, Rodney O’Bryan; step-brothers, Reginal Terry and Dequinder Calhoun; sister-in-law, Shanelle Castell; grandmother, Bobbi Hardy; aunts, Louise Boyd, Irma Dennis, June Jennings, Carol Rodgers, Sabrina Hardy, Cynthia Donald, Alicia Nelson; special aunt, Carolyn Clayton; two uncles, Fred (Stephanie) Wilson and Eddie (Christine) Isom; mothers of his sons, Lashon Castell and Tanesha Isom; four nieces, Rakisha Parks, Diamond Parks, Coriana Parks and NyKita Ewing; four nephews, Artavious Rhodes, Rodney O’Bryan, Jr., Cameron Parks and Anthony Wiley; many other relatives and friends including special friends, James Carthan, Greg Hayes, Kevin Hayes, Alvin Pratt, Mike Pratt, Lorrel Thomas, Kervin Owens, Vincent Abraham, Gabriel Nicholson, Darnel Barefield, Damon Stephens, Anthony Moncrief, Ken Riley, Alton Sanders, Paul Greer, Rudy Lidell, Noland Woods and Garland Welch. Mr. Crittendon was preceded in death by his father, Charles Crittendon; grandmother, Elizabeth Wilson; grandfather, Fred Parks; uncle, Anton Parks; friend, Ken Sanders. The family would like to extend special thanks to his cousin, Glenner Simon; his coworkers at Wolverine Human Services, and Evans & Browne’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Wolverine State Baptist Headquarters, 615 South Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Dennis Cotton will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601.
