Mr. Bronson Bulger, Jr.

On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Bronson made a transition from this world to be with his Heavenly father. Bronson Bulger, Jr. was born on February 24, 1961 in Verbena, Alabama to the late Bronson Bulger, Sr. and the late Annie Lue (Bulger) McQueen. Bronson “Chucky” was a longtime resident of Saginaw, Michigan and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Mr. Bulger was a member of Spiritual Macedonia Baptist Church. After graduating from high school, Bronson later enlisted in the United States Army National Guard where he served our country for years and retired with an Honorable Discharge. Bronson enjoyed fishing, reading his Bible, cooking, playing video games and helping other people. Bronson “Chucky” leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Annette Marie Sunday (Marcallus); two brothers, Terry Bulger (Jesusa) and Keith Bulger (Tamika); one daughter, Tamela Franklin; two sons, Bronson Bulger III, and Mario Bulger; eight grandchildren, Cha’marionna Bulger, Mario Bulger, Jr., Amaria, Marsani, Royaltee, and Breasia Bulger, Demarcrionna Peterson and Zynia Fields; three special nieces, Mi’Esha Sunday whom he called “Me”, Latoya Reynolds and Honey Bulger; two favorite cousins, Larry Walton and Robert Bulger; Bronson’s girlfriend, Sabrina Simpson; the mother of his two sons, Denise Pierson; Yvette Patterson his former wife of many years; three children, Ri’Kiya, Jha’Miya and Jha’Niya who always called him “PawPaw” because he often took care of them, and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends, too numerous to name. Bronson “Chucky” was preceded in death by his father Bronson Bulger Sr. and his mother Annie Lue McQueen; his brother, Christopher “Tiger” Bulger and one of his favorite cousins, James Ware, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to Spiritual Macedonia Baptist Church, Marcallus and Annette Sunday, Larry Walton, Saginaw National Guard Armory B-Co Bushmaster 1-125 and Evans & Brown’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Spiritual Macedonia Baptist Church, 641 North 4th Street, Saginaw, MI 48607. Pastor Marcallus Sunday will officiate with interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. Visitation will take place 9:00 AM until the time of service.
