Celleansten Robinson

.Mrs. Celleansten (Ducre) Robinson passed away on May 12, 2006 at Covenant Emergency Care Center at the age of 72 years. She was born September 22, 1933 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Jim and Rosie Ducre. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She moved to Saginaw in 1966 after residing in Slidell, LA. She later married Joseph Robinson on November 4, 1990 and was the mother of 10 children. She united with Greater Renaissance Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Nathaniel Calhoun, Sr., until going home to be with the Lord. Mrs. Robinson retired from the Saginaw Metal Cast Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Jimmie (Debra) Tyson, Anthony Conerly and John Conerly; five daughters, Linda (Nicaise) Tahane of Austin, Texas, Diane (Lemuel) Patton of Saginaw, Michigan, Patricia Ann Nelson of Bay City, Michigan, Denise (Tony) Little of Saginaw, Michigan and Dana Hill of Pflugerville, Texas; and two stepsons, Derrick Robinson and Cedric Clayton. She had seven god-children, Neomi, Darrel, Terrel, Asia Ducre-Price, Sandra, Cleveland F. Ducre and John Nelson, Jr.; 34 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Elmore) Hooker and Mary Ann Ducre; three brothers, Allen Jones, Cleveland J. (Martha) Ducre and Larry Ducre; god-sister, Margret (Virgil) Walker; a sprcial sister-in-law, Ruby Wilson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many more friends that she mothered and loved. She also leaves special friends, Doris Spears, Caroline Brooks, Virgil Coleman, Cricket, Sherly McGee of Detroit, Michigan, London Cox, Clarenta Earthman, Sharlee Euell and Linda Box She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Faye Tyson; one son, Napoleon Conerly, Jr.; granddaughter, Sherlyn Nelson; father, Anthony (Jim) Ducre; mother, Rosie I. Ducre; three sisters, Ida Lee Sams, Mary Edna Nelson, Hattie Bernice Taylor; one brother, Freddie Ducre; and grandparents, Hattie Holmes and Jep Quin. The family would like to thank Demetrius Hawkins, the staff at Covenant Hospital for their support at a time when it was much needed, the members of Greater Williams Temple C.O.G.I.C., the Nelson and Scott families.
