Mr. Charles "Duck" Anthony Donald

Mr. Charles Anthony "Duck" Donald was born June 7, 1963 in Saginaw, MI the son of James and Azzilee Donald. He passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 in Nashville, TN at the age of 56 years. Mr. Donald was a resident of Mount Juliet, TN and a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School. After graduation he enlisted into the United States Army where he served for six years. He was employed through several trucking companies. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Chandra White Donald, Chicago, IL; daughters, Courtney Donald of Florida and Markeea (Terry) Tate of Illinois; sons, Jordan Jones and Charles Donald, Jr., both of Saginaw, MI, step-children, Bianca, Skyy and Mariah White, all of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Zel’Niyah Mijoi and Demaree’ Mikel Thompson ; mother, Azzilee O’Neal; father, James C. (Dorothy) Donald, Sr.; sisters, Jeanette (Rodney) Johnson and Trina Donald, both of Saginaw, MI; brothers, Sam Donald, Ricky (Cheryl) Baber and Derrick Donald, all of Saginaw, MI, Eugene (Erica) Davis, Detroit, MI and James (Tiffany) Donald, Jr. of Indiana; nieces, Angell (Huey) Kelsey and Tiara Donald, both of Georgia, Sydney, Brianna and Brooklyn Donald, all of Saginaw, MI, TeTe Donald of Arkansas, Grace Baber of Tennessee, Jasmine and Arielle Davis, both of Detroit, MI; nephews, Mike, Brandon, Derrick and James Donald, Ricky and Rico Baber, all of Saginaw, MI; aunts, Virginia Arnett, Betty Willis Palmer, Renee McCall, Connie Gray, Leslie Kaiser, all of Saginaw, MI, Linda Donald of Ohio, Beverly (Charles) Moore, Janice (David) Johnson, both of Tuscaloosa, AL; uncles, Tony McCall of Alabama and Steve (Carmen) McCall, Houston, TX; many other relatives and friends including special friends, brothers from other mothers, Troy (Anetra) Howard, Austin Stuckey, Mark and Marty Harmond, Ricky, Randy and Anthony Carter and Earnest Reed. Mr. Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Derwin O’Neal and Carl Donald; grandmothers, Claudia Wills and Bertha E. Donald; grandfathers, Fred McCall and Howard Donald; aunts, Ruthy Gaines and Patricia Ann Davis (Tina); uncles, John McCall, Larry Gray, Johnny, Cleveland, Howard, Ted, Curtis, Ed and Willie Donald. The family would like to express special thanks to, Dorothy, a very close and dear companion and friend who made him happy and comforted him in his last days. Family hour will take place at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607, with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ernest Reed will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
