Mrs. Christine Jenise (Dunn) Flowers

Christine Jenise (Dunn) Flowers was born on March 29, 1972, to the loving parents of Gladys J. Austin and Robert Dunn, Sr. in Saginaw, Michigan. Christine departed this life on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of forty-six years. Christine accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethesda Baptist Church. She participated in all the youth programs along with her brothers and sisters. She received her formal education in the Saginaw Public Schools attending Houghton Elementary and Arthur Eddy Junior High. She was a proud graduate of the Saginaw High School Class of 1990. She moved to the Detroit Metro area as a young adult to attend the University of Detroit. After graduating, Christine began her career in advertisement and public relations where her employment included United Way, PHD Detroit, GM Planworks/Starcom Mediavest Group and Comcast. For over twenty years Christine was a member of Word of Faith International Christian Center (WOFICC). Christine joined WOFICC TV ministry after completing her Broadcast/Digital Media Arts certification at Specs Howard School of Media Arts. In 2013, Christine married the love of her life, Reginald Flowers, Sr. To this union was born Reginald Jr. and Alexander. Christine was also the loving mother of Zoe and Brielle. She was passionate about modeling, real estate investing, fostering children and wedding planning. Christine truly possessed the spiritual gift of Helps. The ambition and enthusiasm she displayed when assisting with whatever the need or the cause was always a delight to witness. She used her creativity and God given talents to ensure each mission was completed with excellence. Those that beheld her contagious smile, radiant personality and zest for life can only be forever inspired. Austin, Saginaw, MI; father, Robert Dunn, Sr., Saginaw, MI; mother-in- law, Elaine Flowers, Sterling Heights, MI; father-in-law, Hameed Seifuddin, Atlanta, GA; grandmother, Alberta Austin, Saginaw MI; six sisters, Rosaline (Gary) Butterfield, Saginaw, MI, Doris (Cornelius) Strong, Sterling Heights, MI, Stacy (Michael) Rhoden, Bridgeport, MI, Lydia Moore, Warren, MI, Gabriella (Demetrius) Moore-Taylor, Saginaw, MI and Ebony Dunn, Grand Rapids; three brothers, Jonathan Moore, Saginaw, MI, Foster Moore, III, Los Angeles, CA and Robert Dunn, Jr., St. Petersburg, FL; godsisters, Chrishawna and Ericah Walker, Detroit, MI; five aunts and six uncles; eight nieces; four nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Horace Gene Austin; her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Donna Mae Dunn; her daughter Zoe Young and two godchildren, Kamil Faith Mitchell and Donyell Harvie Mitchell. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Word of Faith International Christian Center, 20000 W. Nine Mile Rd., Southfield MI 48075, Founder: Bishop A. Butler. The Family Hour will take place on Thursday, November 1, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
