Mrs. Corrine Rogers

Mrs. Corrine Rogers was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the parents of Walter and Elizabeth Carter. She passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the age of 95 years. She was a resident of Buena Vista Township in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a caregiver for a number of years and enjoyed taking care of others. She became a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport Michigan on May 30, 1982. She enjoyed worshipping with her church family. Mrs. Rogers loved cooking delicious meals for her family and spending time with her loved ones. Mrs. Corrine Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Rogers, Sr.; sons, Larry, Gary and Gary Rogers; a daughter, Wilie Mae Rogers; grandsons, Robert Lee Rogers, Larry and Jason Mathious; great-granddaughter, Lawanda McDonalds; great-grandson, Robert Lee Rogers, Jr.; brother, Walter Carter; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gulley; brothers-in-law, Billie and Robert Stafford, Frank Hemphill and TC Porter; sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Cooper and Saarah Mahaffey and her special friend, Carol Lee Edwards . Family Hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 2400 King Rd. Bridgeport Twp., MI 48601 with the funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Scott Chowling will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
