Mr. Dan "June" Rouster

Mr. Dan Rouster, Jr. passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the age of 60 years. He was born January 5, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Dan and Margaret (Tucker) Rouster, Sr. Dan better known as “June” graduated from Saginaw High School “Class of 1974”. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. The worked for Grey Iron Chevrolet Foundry a division of General Motors until he retired. June was a people person who loved everyone he met. He loved to cook, go to church and take care of his family. Dan would give good advice and always made you laugh with his jokes. He would always visit the sick and do whatever he could for anyone that asked. “June” will be truly missed. Mr. Dan Rouster, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Danyelle Rouster of Saginaw, MI and Ciara Rouster of Jackson, MS; two sons, Dan (Hope) Rouster III of Austell, GA and Marlon (Sherrice) Rouster of Lithia Springs, GA; grandchildren, Kourtni Rouster, Cisley Cooper, Dan Rouster IV and Kayden Rouster; two special sisters, Katherine Rouster and Janel (Leopold) Arnett, both of Saginaw, MI; two special aunts, Mamie Davenport of Rolling Fork, MS and Gloria St. Pierre of Saginaw, MI; uncle, William Rouster of Gary, IN; special niece, Terina Rouster; special nephews, Damont (Tiffiney) Rouster, Shawn (Delphine) Bivens, Wesley Willis and Zaden Henry, all of Saginaw, MI, Corey (Crystal) Rouster of El Paso, TX and Toronto Conner of Burlington, Iowa; fiancé, Mary Walker of Saginaw, MI; goddaughter, Kakewysia Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including special cousin, Richard (Sharon) McMillon of Baldwin, MI, other relatives and friends including special friends, Mack (Mary) Sweeney, Kermit (Glenda) Crockett, Earl (Rhonda) Caviness and Joey Hunt. Mr. Rouster was preceded in death by his, parents, Dan and Margaret Rouster, Sr.; two sisters, Maryann Tucker and Notheria (Betty) Rouster; and brother, Jerry Rouster. The family wishes to express special thanks to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church family, Pastor Albert Haynes, the Walker, Haynes, McMillon, Wicker, Castell and Calhoun families; the Country Club family, M & D, all his breakfast buddies at McDonalds and a special thank you to World Outreach Campus and Pastor Hurley J. Coleman, Jr. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at World Outreach Campus, 2405 Bay Road. Pastor Hurley J. Coleman, Jr., Host Pastor and Pastor Albert Haynes will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friend may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue on Monday from 2:00-8:00 p.m.
