Mr. DeShawn LaSheen "Heavy Game" Billings

Mr. DeShawn LaSheen "Heavy Game" Billings (Mom called him "Shawnees") was born February 4, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Constance Billings and Louis Henry Blackmon. He passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the age of 49 years. DeShawn resided in Roseville, MI. He graduated from Saginaw High School and then attended Wyoming University to become a Diesel Mechanic. He also graduated from Mott Community College as a Truck Driver and had several jobs as an auto mechanic. DeShawn enjoyed all types of sports and loved his rap music. He was a loving father; he truly loved his son dearly as well as his family. DeShawn loved to talk and crack jokes with his friends and family. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Deveon Billings, Saginaw, MI; his mother, Constance M. Billings; grandparents, Carl Billings, Sr. of Lenexas, KS; two brothers, Demicko (Michelle) Macon, Humble, TX and Bryant Blackmon, Saginaw, MI; aunts, Patricia West, Saginaw, MI and Nancy Martin Billings, Oklahoma City, OK, Diane Billings, Saginaw, MI; uncles, Carl (Guiella) Billings, Jr., Stockholm, Sweden, Theophus and Tracey Billings, Saginaw, MI, Joseph (Vera) Billings, Saginaw, MI; sister-in-law, Michell Macon; niece, Brinnia, Humble, TX, Breeanna Billings and Jowanna Billings, both of Saginaw, MI, Angela Billings, Stockholm, Sweden, Nicole Guajardo, Houston, TX; nephews, Demicko Macon, Jr. and Jason both of Humble, TX and Toryan West, Parkville, MO; cousins, Jamal Martin, Kayla and Tony West, Theophus Billings, Jr., Keowanna Mitchell and many other relatives and friends including Ms. Minnie Hope, special friends of the family, Troy Boyd, Saginaw, MI, Bruce Lambert, Golden Eagle Lks, FL, Donald Derricki, Eastpointe, MI and a very special friend, Terrance Watson, Saginaw, MI. Mr. Billings was preceded in death by his father, Louis Henry Blackmon; grandparents, Constance L. Billings, Jewel Blackmon, Louis H. Holmes and Virginia Billings; great-grandparents, Edna Hoggs and Beulah Goode; and an uncle, John Billings. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Pastor Herbert Morris, Jr. will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
