Ms. Diane Lynette Turner

Ms. Diane Lynette Turner was born December 11, 1965 to Mary Turner and Jessie Samuel in Saginaw, Michigan. Diane passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 55 years. Diane was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended the Saginaw Public School System and graduated from Saginaw High School Class of “1984”. She confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Diane worked at various jobs before becoming disabled. Diane was blessed to be the mother of four children; Krystal, Diamond, Dominique and Sparkle. She loved her children dearly. She loved spending time with family and friends. The happiness and joy she would express when she saw you would let you know she truly loved you. Diane loved going out to eat, and shopping. She also loved riding around the city with her daughters who took care of their mother to the end. To know Diane was to love her. She will truly be missed and will live forever in our hearts. Diane leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Krystal, Diamond (Billy) and Sparkle Turner; mother, Mary Turner; grandmother, Adline Helton; sisters, Deborah Lampkin and Terri Galaviz; brother, Korrey Turner; aunts, Ida Helton, Juanita (Darrell) Drake and Nancy (Henry) Johnson; uncles, Roosevelt (Yvonne) Helton, Jr., Curtis (Louise) Helton, Sr. and Charles (Mary) Helton; nieces, Candice Turner, Brooklynn Watson, Taneshia Samuel and Unique Galaviz; nephews, DeShawn Johnson, Tory Turner and Kevin Simon; several great-nieces and nephews including special great-niece, Taylor Johnson and special great-nephews, Toriono Turner and Bronx Turner who loved to come over and help take care of their “Tee Tee”; cousins, Reggie (Pam), Curtis, Jr. (Jenny), Armon, Lamar, Louis, Germaine, Darrell, Jr., Antwan, Chantel (Gary), Demona (Andrew), Kenyetta (Andre), Charneka (Marcus) and LaTosha; many other relatives and friends including special neighbor, DeVonda Smothers and another special nephew, Artavis Williams. Diane was preceded in death by her son, Dominique Turner; father, Jessie Samuel; grandfather, Rosevelt Helton, Sr.; grandmother, Lula Mae Hawkins; cousins, Roosevelt Antione Helton III and Antionesha Helton and a brother-in-law, Reginald Lampkin. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI, 48607. Pastor Otis Washington will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI, 48601. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
