Family hour will take place at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, with the funeral commencong at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dempsey Allen will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Doll Eddie Weston, Sr. was born August 13, 1929 in Panola, AL to Nence and Josephine (Smith)Weston and passed away November 23, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Mr. Weston resided in Saginaw and was educated in the Saginaw Public School System. He was employed by ConAgra Foods and Smith Douglas. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Hattie Evelyn Weston of Saginaw, MI; five children, James C. (Ava), Barbara A., Doll, Jr. (Genise) and Eddie Weston all of Saginaw, MI, and Paul Weston of Savannah, GA; one stepdaughter, Eleanor Dever (Gus) of Temple, TX; his grandchildren, Evelyn Parks (Jason) of Battle Creek, MI, Desiree Blakes (Eddie) of Saginaw, MI, Darlene Peoples of Detroit, MI and Danyelle Hillman (Willie) of Saginaw, MI, Paul Weston, Jr. of Savannah, GA, Christopher Wadley, Mitchell Weston, Amanda Benton, Isziah and Aysia Weston all of Saginaw, MI and Shakelle Eddie Weston of Denver, CO; six great-grandchildren, Deleance, Terrell, Te'Kyra and Tiondra Blakes all of Saginaw, MI, Jessica Parks of Battle Creek, MI and Jaden Blakes of Saginaw, MI; one brother-in-law, Daniel O. Brown (Lois) of Temple, TX; many other relatives and friends including Cleveland Price. Mr. Weston was preceded in death by one daughter, Jodell Primus; a daughter-in-law, Genie Weston; one grandson, Harold Primus, Jr.; his parents, Nence and Josephine Weston Cleveland; step-father, James Cleveland; his maternal grandparents, Clayborn and Mary Smith; two uncles, Olie and Cleophus Smith; mother and father-in-law, Eleanora and William A. Brown, Sr,; one sister-in-law, Verna May Brown and two brothers-in-law, Vernon and William A. Brown, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to the V.A. Hospital, Chaplin A. Todd and Marvin Seevers.
