Mr. Duane McGhee

Mr. Duane McGhee was born September 14, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of William, Sr., and Jannie (Robinson) McGhee. He passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at the age 65 years. Duane was raised in Saginaw, attended and was a graduate of the Bay City Public School System. He was a member of Measure of Faith Church. His hobbies included sports, WWF Wrestling and Duane loved to play Dominoes. He always had a beautiful smile on his face. Mr. McGhee leaves to cherish his memory three daughters and three sons, Renea Spain, Cheryl Lee, Shaneequa Love, Antione (Santoyria) Love, Shane (Jessica) Bates and Lamarr Bates; three step-children, Serina, Nikitra and Jermel; 20 grandchildren, Payton, Parker, Carter, Antione, Taiwan, Khristian, Skai, Dariyon, Rikeyda, Diamond, Dayja, Jamia, Bruce, Brandon, Tre’jore, Illiana, Lilla, Jacob, Anthony and Josiah; one great-grandchild, London; his mother, Jannie McGhee; one sister, Linda McGhee; two brothers, William and Thomas McGhee; four nieces, Tosha, Lashonda, Vaneta and Chyna; nephew, Anthony; one uncle, Cornelius (Shirley) Jordan; cousins, Terrance, Alfton (Danille) Keyvia, Ann, Johnnie, Juniata, Laura, Barabra-Jean, Marion, Wanda, Marva, Gloria, Dorothy, Garfield (Debra), Erica, Teri Lynn, Brianna, and Janay Charles, Patricia; god-sisters; god-brothers; many other relatives and friends, including, Larry (Yolonda), Leon, Theresa Mixon, Ulish and Carolyn Lindsey, DeShannon, Monica, Tryvonna and Lil Tanya, special friends, Earlene Anderson, Lupe Davis and Gladys. Duane was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Kaleb Cameron; his father, William McGhee; grandparents, Annie and Johnnie Jordan; great-grandmother, Jannie Connerly; aunts, Delores Beech and Loletha Jordan; cousins, Whelimina and Linda Jackson and special friend, James Williams special friend to family, Everyln Mixon. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue. Pastor Charles Dallas will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
