Ella (Lenzie) Bradshaw

Mrs. Ella Mae Bradshaw, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, made her transition from earthly labor to Heavenly reward on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Mrs. Bradshaw was born January 8, 1939 in Heth, AR, the daughter of Roosevelt and Annie B. Lindsey. She was a long-time resident of Saginaw, MI. In the 1960’s, she was affiliated with the 4-H Club at Jones Elementary School as a knitting and crocheting instructor. She was a former member of Greater All Nation Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C. and a longtime member of the Charlotte Ray Temple #549 I.B.P.O.E. of W. She loved to cook, garden and fish and she was all about family. Mrs. Bradshaw leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Olander Bradshaw, Sr.; three daughters and six sons, Diana Morris, Patricia Chisolm, Djuana Bradshaw, Olander Bradshaw, Jr., James Bradshaw, Sr., Geoffrey Bradshaw, Godfrey (Cheryl) Bradshaw, Sr., Scottie Bradshaw, Sr. and Mark Bradshaw, Sr.; 32 grandchildren, Terrence (Gretchen), Catrina, Tanella, Yolanda, Dontrell, Dion, Nikki, Leilani, James, Jr., Malcolm, Shawntours (Natalie), Maurice (Carrie), Lathrese, Gregory, Natalie, Godfrey II, Brandon, Michael (Tiara), Onisha, Deandre, Derrick, Adam, Aaron, Tyler, Tremaine, Scottie, Jr. (Danita), Mario, Olander E., Portia, Mark, Jr., Audrianna and Markell; 53 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Carolyn) Lindsey; many nieces, nephews and cousins, including special cousins, Canary Williams, Mattie Collier, M.D. and Vera Adams; three sisters-in-law, Nancy Davis, Florastein McWright and Virginia (Emmanuel) Johnson; seven brothers-in-law, Payton (Willie), Tommy, Charles (Mary), Johnnie (Mildred), Larry, Floyd and Jackie Bradshaw; and many other relatives and good friends, including special friends, Lillye Dugan, Faye Gatson, Isabelle Yrlas, Thomas and Julia Moore, the Morris Family, Mary Walker, Joseph and Lillie McKnight, and Pastor Louis and Sister Portia Bishop. Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Annie Lindsey, Sr.; brothers, Velma, Roosevelt, Jr. and Charlie Lindsey; sisters, Tennesee Brown, Pearl Beamon and Bertha Johnson; stepsister, Ruby Cain; stepbrother, Clarence Smith; and sons-in-law, Tepor Youngblood and Lewis Morris. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue. Pastor Louis Bishop and Pastor Herbert Morris will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
