Ms. Francine Chisolm-Young

Ms. Francine Chisolm-Young went home to be the Lord on Monday May 24, 2021 at the age of 72 years old. She passed away at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Francine was born May 13, 1949 in Inverness, Mississippi to Ola Mae Smith and Moses Chisolm. Francine accepted Christ at a very young age, despite the minor bumps and bruises of life she always found her way back to her heavenly father. Francine was a faithful long term member of St. Lukes Temple C.O.G.I.C. Francine had a strong-willed independent personality. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and traveling. She loved cooking, eating, lounging around her house and watching movies. She loved scary movies. Her famous taco’s will be missed. Francine will truly be missed and cherished by those who knew her best, and loved her dearly. She leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters Jammie Green, Dallas, Texas, Catrina Young, Kalamazoo, Michigan; one son, Paul (Chentelle) Chisolm of Ann Arbor, Michigan; four sisters Maxine (Leroy) Parker, Vickie Hatfield, Carolyn Chisolm all of Winter Haven, Florida, Jennette Chisolm, Saginaw, Michigan; two brothers, Bill (Patricia) Chisolm, Hughes, Arkansas, Dennis Chism, Saginaw, Michigan; Four grandchildren Jamica Taylor, Memphis, Tennessee, Jamesha Green, Seattle Washington, Jamnay(Mychal) Elam, Madison, Tennessee, Jade Taylor, Dallas, Texas; Three great grandchildren Jamecia Hunt-Taylor, Devin Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee, Da’Karaio Green, Seattle, Washington; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and loved ones; Including two special cousins Aaron and Willie Smith; two special nieces that assisted with her care Carolyn Badger and Jessica Chisolm. Francine was preceded in death by her parents Ola Mae Smith and Moses Chisolm; brothers, Nathaniel, Odale and Buddy Chisolm; grandson, Deleon Taylor; and great grandson, Delveon Burton. The family of Francine Chisolm-Young wishes to thank our family, friends and the staff at Evans-Browne Funeral Home for their kind expressions of concern and heartfelt sympathy during our bereavement. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Visitation will be take place from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
