Mr. George "Chicken" Graham

George A. Graham, Sr. was born October 28, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to Andrew J. and Mary J. (Jones) Graham. He passed away March 7, 2019. George attended the Buena Vista School District and completed his G. E. D. at St. Joseph Catholic School. Mr. Graham worked for the Saginaw Malleable Iron, General Motors Corp. as a crane operator and was a member of UAW Local 467. He was a manager at Sibley’s Shoe Store and worked at Edward’s Men Shop. He loved to dress, and had the gift of putting a classy outfit together. He was also employed by Anheuser Busch where he worked as a Distributor /Driver, was a member of the Local Teamsters Union and went on to become a Sales Representative for the company. He later began his own business of remodeling homes. His mind and hands were blessed to create and design. He built his first car with his hands. He enjoyed cooking, was known for his delicious Bar-B-Que and spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Graham leaves to cherish his memory, five children, George A. Graham, Jr. (Gloria), Marc Graham (Janell), Meicha and Vershonda Little and Ranesha Williams (Gregory); nine grandchildren, George A., Arronna and Amena Graham, Trechelle and Tbe’Von Davenport, Joslynn and Joshua Hatter, Natasha Cactian and Markeisha King; four great-grandchildren; his fiancé’, Vickie Little; niece, Yolanda Howard; nephews, Michael T. Fuse (Suzanne), Aaron Fuse, Patrick Howard, Thomas J. Graham II and Michael T. Earle; goddaughter, Rochelle Johnson; many other relatives and friends including former wives, Lender Graham and Denise (Gregory) Townsend. George was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary Jo Graham; a son, Randall Jones; two brothers, Andrew J., Jr., and Thomas J. Graham; a sister, Bernice Fuse. The family would like to express special thanks to all family and friends. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607. Dr. Roy Manning will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607 on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Family will be present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to greet friends.
