Jasper Myles

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Novemver 14, 2008 at Greater Williams Temple Church of God in Christ, 608 E. Remington Street with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 North Jefferson Ave., Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will be present from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Mr. Jasper Lee Myles, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Hospital in Reno, NV, following a short illness at the age of 51. He was predeceased by his father, Huere Lee Myles, Sr. and is survived by his parents, Nellie M. and John McCulloh of Saginaw, MI. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Darwin (Lawanda) Johnson, Sr. and Deondrea D. Johnson, Sr., both of Houston, TX; nine sisters, Cynthia (Michael) Chaffer, Sabrina Jiles, Tracy Myles, Tanya (Terrence) Myles Wilson, Vera (Alvin) McCulloh Pratt, Tomicka McCulloh, all of Saginaw, MI; Denise McCulloh of Grand Rapids, MI; Tabbatha (Tyrone) Brown of Sterling Heights, MI; three brothers, Huere L. Myles, Jr., Luther V. Myles, and Rev. George (Dorothy) Myles, all of Saginaw, MI; and grandmother, JoAnn (Merlin) Simpson. Jasper was a proud grandfather of seven, Asija, Jeremy, Deondrea, Jr., Shamitrea, Darwin, Jr., Camren and Diamond, all of Houston, TX. He is survived by his uncle, Clemington (Mary) Haulcy Sr. of Saginaw, MI; four aunts, Dorothye Carter of Oakland, CA., Ennis Brown of Saginaw, MI, Alicia (Lavell) Caldwell and Latrecia Haulcy of Sparks, NV; a special cousin, Patricia Haulcy; a special nephew, Marcus L. Myles and a host of many other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and God-brothers, Willie Harvey, Ronnie Doxie, and Ladell Smith. Jasper Lee Myles was preceded in death by his father, Huere Lee Myles, Sr.; step-mother, Barbara A. Myles; grandmother, Glanie Myles; grandfather, Luther Myles II; grandfather, Clemington Haulcy, Sr.; grandmother, Eliza Haulcy; grandfather, Oliver McCulloh; and grandmother, Mae Francis McCulloh; great-grandfather and great-grandmother, Green B. and Stella Haulcy; sister, Sylvia Myles; aunt, Mae L. Myles, and special friend, George Wells.
