Larry Faulk

Mr. Larry Faulk passed away on December 7, 2013 at the age of 60 years. He was born on November 26, 1953 in Bullock County, AL, the son of Leila (Underwood) and Alvin Faulk. He graduated from Buena Vista High School, Class of 1971. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Network Technology, and continuing his education, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University, graduating in May 2013. Mr. Faulk was a member of the World Outreach Campus where he served as Usher Board President. He loved fishing, being a handyman, going to church and being a teacher to people who were willing to listen. He was also a great cook and loved working on computers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Mr. Faulk leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Beverly Faulk; two daughters, Leila L. Faulk and Tasha Frazier, both of Saginaw, MI; three step-children, Anitress (Ronald) Scott-Braggs of Stone Mountain, GA, Anthony (Julia) Scott and Anthony Houston, both of Minneapolis, MN; 11 great-grandchildren, Caron and Arik Braggs, both of Stone Mountain, GA, QuaVail Frazier, Lemont Davis, both of Saginaw, MI, Anthony Scott, Jr., Anthony Houston, Jr., both of Minneapolis, MN, MonTesha and MonTeanna Davis, both of Saginaw, MI, Aliana Scott, LaBrisha Hill and AnQuisha Houston, all of Minneapolis, MN; mother, Leila Faulk of Saginaw, MI, four aunts, Ora Lee McKinnon of Oakridge, TN, Inez Bates of Elizabeth, NJ, Jessie Kate of Columbus, GA and Arthero Reed of Birmingham, AL; two uncles, Leeodeas (Maggie) Faulk and Leimi Underwood of Fort Seal, AL; many cousins; two sisters-in-law, Sarah M. and Shirley Houston; three brothers-in-law, John Houston of Minneapolis, MN, Denious Houston of Little Rock, AK and Garron Houston of Minneapolis, MN; and many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Deacon John Turner, Elder Arthur Smith, Deacon John Heart, Brother Eugene Terrell, Deacon James Henley, Deacon William Moore, Elder Melvin Price, Elder Tony Young and Godson, Jahmir Vanlanham. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Faulk, uncles, Evins Faulk, Eperfence Faulk and T. Underwood. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at World Outreach Campus, 2405 Bay Road. Pastor Hurley J. Coleman will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
