Ms. Laura "Doll" Webb

Mrs. Laura “Doll” Webb was born October 12, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Cleve Allen and Rosie (Thomas) Allen. She passed away at the age of 79 years on April 10, 2023. “Doll” relocated from Louisiana to Saginaw, Michigan with her family. She graduated with honors as Valedictorian from St. Joseph Adult Education. She enjoyed serving at The Potters Touch Church with Pastor Kareem Bowen. Laura loved to worship and was affiliated with several churches beginning her walk of faith at Bethlehem Temple Church. Doll had a special craft of making unforgettable cheese cakes; everybody loved them. She worked in the retail industry for a number of years. Her smile was absolutely lovely, her personality was one of a kind, she was kind, loving and never met a stranger. During her sons’ elementary school years, she worked with the basketball team making sure everything was in place, and the uniforms were just right. She was an avid basketball fan and dedicated to sportsters from Saginaw, Michigan; Jason Richardson, Draymond Green and Darvin Ham just to name a few. She enjoyed all genres of music, especially gospel music. She loved her family and was so, very proud of her sons. To cherish many memories she leaves five sons, Darric, Dion, Demetrius, Dirrell and Davarrio Webb; nieces that she helped raise, Rose Allen McZee and Patricia (Larry) Frierson; 11 grandchildren, Dekedra, Sparkle (Sammy), LaTashia, Datrell, Nyja, D’asia, De’tayvion, Marcei, Deyonn, Aniya and Aaron; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many other special relatives and special friends, Peggy (Bernard) Reed, Rosie Baldwin, Levaday Taylor, Margret Enoch Broddus, Pat Bowen Prescott, Cleotis Holmes and Jeronica Frierson. Mrs. Laura Ann Webb was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Rosie Allen; brother, Tommy Clyde “TC” Allen; a nephew, Tommie Allen and the father of her children, Eveey Webb. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Rev. Lee A Thomas will officiate. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington, Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Evans & Browne's. The family will be present from 4-6 to greet family and friends.
