Ms. Mary Elizabeth Beasley

Mrs. Mary “Mae Mae” Beasley our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister transitioned peacefully on May 24, 2023 at the age of 69 years. Mary was born to James and Elizabeth Taylor on October 2, 1953 in Brownsville, Tennessee. Mary was lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School “Class of 1971”. She was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in environmental services for over 20 years and retired in 2020 to enjoy her family. Mary was a hard and dedicated worker that was truly loved and respected by everyone. “Mae Mae” as she was often called, loved spending time with her family and loved them dearly, but most of all she LOVED spending time with her grandkids. She often talked about her children and grandchildren and how God had blessed her as a mother. Mary enjoyed dancing, listening to music, reading books and outdoor activities. She was the life of the party. Mary will always be in our hearts! Mary leaves many memories to be cherished by her mother, Elizabeth Taylor; brother, Ronnie Taylor; sister-in-love, Mary Ann (Don) Servant of Saginaw, MI; three daughters, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Detroit, MI, Fareedah and Destiny, both of Saginaw, MI; son, Willie Fitzpatrick of Saginaw, MI; 12 grandchildren, Cora (Derrick) Kinchen, Detroit, MI, Keivant, Na’Kiya and Psalm Wright, Kayden, Channce, Brielle, Kylen, Colby, Sa’Riyah Fitzpatrick, Israel and Egypt Ramon-Sampson, all of Saginaw; one great-grandson, Cory Kinchen, Detroit, MI; special aunt, Huda Rahman; special niece Camisha (Lebron) Owens; special cousins, Cathy Davidson, Mansfield, OH and Tea Warren, both of Saginaw and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, relatives and friends including special lifelong friends, Annie Wilburn, Elaine Clement, Delores and Josie Johnson, all of Saginaw. Mary was preceded in death by her father, James Taylor; daughter, Aneesah Fitzpatrick and her lifelong partner, Shellie Fitzpatrick. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023, World Outreach Campus, 2405 Bay Street, Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastor Hurley J. Coleman, Jr. will officiate.
