Ms. Mary Catherine Mack

Mary was born on November 11, 1951 in Florence, Alabama to the late Chester and Mary Louise (Brewer) Beachum. She passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the age of 68 years. Ms. Mack was a graduate of Coffee High School in Florence, Alabama. She was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was employed by General Motors Corporation, worked at several locations and was a member of the UAW Local #668. She enjoyed bowling, watching game and judge shows and traveling with family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Pandoria Vaughn, Saginaw, MI; three grandchildren, Sharnise and De’Antrea Vaughn and Jayveon Jackson, all of Saginaw, MI; four great-grandchildren, Laila and Legend Vaughn, and Autumn and Madison Jackson, all of Saginaw, MI; three sisters, Ivory Orine Kennebrew, Madison, AL, Pearlene Johnson (John) Florence, AL, and Shere Beachum, Florence, AL; aunts, Lillie Strong, Maryland and Flora Arnett, Saginaw, MI; three uncles, Moses Brewer (Gwen), Denver, CO, Samuel Brewer, Florence, AL and James Jackson, Southfield, MI; sisters-in-law, Mattie Beachum, Tuscumbia, AL and Katie Beachum, Saginaw,MI; two brothers-in-law, John Johnson, Florence, AL and Landros Brown, Hainesville, IL; six nieces, Lametra Beachum, Orlando, FL, Whitney Beachum, Defiance, OH, Landria Brown Plasent, Perrie, WI, Tamara Prince, Saginaw, MI, Kimberly Roy-Hill, Florence, AL and Maria Johnson, Florence, AL; eight nephews, Vincent Beachum, IL, Rickey Beachum, Atlanta, GA, Damond Anderson, Roderick Beachum, LaDrake Roy and Keith Johnson, all of Florence, AL, Damone Beachum, Boston, MA, and Gregory Beachum of California; great-nieces, Dominique Beachum and Deloria Acklen, both of Saginaw, MI; cousins, Linda Taylor and Susie (Jack) Reeder, Florence, AL; a god-daughter, Takesha Lee, Columbus, OH; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Nathan Morris, other cousins, nieces and nephews. Ms. Mack was preceded in death by, her parents; one sister, Ruthie Beachum Brown; three brothers, Oliver Eugene Beachum, Florida Beachum and Chester Beachum, Jr.; one aunt, Nellie Jackson; and grandson, Ky’andre Vaughn. The family would like to express special thanks to Janelle and Latricia Terrell. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Pastor Hurley J. Coleman Will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601.
