Mr. Michael David Wilson

Our beloved father, brother and grandfather, Michael David Wilson was born on August 3, 1953 in Saginaw, MI to Robert and Katie (Moore) Wilson. He passed away December 11, 2017 after a lengthy illness at the age of 64 years. Michael was a graduate of Saginaw High School class of 1971. He loved to be around his family and friends. Michael was a sharp dresser, he loved to dance, cook, help other, and was a real character, he was one that would keep you laughing. Michael leaves to cherish many memories his soul mate, Gloria Morris; four daughters, Rachael (Charles) Henderson, Margarie D. Johnson, both of Saginaw, MI, Sandra Michelle Garner, Long Beach, CA and Shirley Rose Caffey, Saginaw, MI; three brothers, Robert L. (Isabel) Wilson, Thomas L. (Bonnie) Wilson and James (Nell) W. Wilson, all of Saginaw, MI. He was blessed to have grandchildren, Catherine Henderson, D’evion Williams, Amos Johnson, Donnell and Danyell Wright, Marquetta and Marquaya Henderson; great-grandchildren, Taylin Finch, LaShell and Tori Henderson; very special nieces, Serena, Sundra, Pamela, Dee Dee, Carla and Jamie Wilson, all of Saginaw, MI; special nephews, James Wilson, Jr., Thomas “Skinny Man” Wilson, Anthony, Michael and Steven Wilson; a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins that were very dear to him; first cousin, Brenda K. (Charles) Wilson-Dillard that he called his sister instead of a cousin; god-son, Freeman and Diamond Battle; god-daughter, Laretta Bailey; aunts, Annie Mae Bridgewater of Saginaw, MI, Florence, Ruby of Alabama and Annie Mae of Ohio; a host of other relatives and friends including best friends, Stalk and Nathaniel ”NaVac” Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Katie Wilson; three brothers, William H., Milford and Charles Wilson; three uncles, George W. and Jimmy L. Wilson and Tom Bridgewater; an aunt, Louise (Arthur) Williams. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue. Pastor Robert Corley, Jr. will officiate. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will be present from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
