Monee Jones

Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Harvest Church, 1734 North Mason Street. Pastor Ronald E. Chipp will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Ave. on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Our heavenly Father has called one of his angels home. On Friday, January 6, 2007, Monee' DeAnn Jones passed away after a brief illness. Monee, the youngest child of Percy and Deborah Jones, was born January 1, 1972 in Saginaw, MI. She was baptized at a very early age. Ms. Jones attended St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor William T. Hunt and recently rededicated her life to her Savior at Faith Harvest Church with Pastor Ronald E. Chipp. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1990. She was a cosmetologist who loved bringing out the beauty of others. Monee was an avid shopper who loved collecting music and movies. Monee had a way of brightening everyone's day around her and she will be terribly missed. Our comfort is in knowing that God was ready for her to be with Him. Monee is survived by her daughter, Allandria Haulcy; foster son, Randy Alexander; god-son, Mikeqwuan Stokes; god-daughter, Donnika Stevenson; her mother, Deborah Jones; sisters, MeShawn (James) Harrison of Saginaw, MI, Sheila (Fred) Hall and Alicia Jones both of Jackson, TN; brothers, Sean (Donna) Galloway of Saginaw, MI, Stephon (Yolanda) Galloway of Chesterfield, MI, Percy (JaQuella) Jones, Jr.and Robert Jones both of Jackson, TN and Marcus Jones of Knoxville, TN; an aunt, Sylvia (Bobby) Jones of Saginaw, MI; uncles, Charles (Lula) Galloway of Saginaw, MI and Cliffton Marrow of Gary, IN; one great-aunt, Willett Galloway-Johnson; five nephews, twelve nieces and one great-nephew; one god-sister of Marsharee Babers; a special cousin, Yuvett Dottery; a host of other cousins and special friends including very dear friends, Annette Babers, Arlinda Baldwin, Katoya McCarroll, Latonyal Menzie and Trenika Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her father, Percy Jones, Sr., grandparents, Ardrie and Jetta Galloway, Sr. and Ida Jones, an uncle, Ardrie Galloway, Jr. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. LaTonya Thomas-Robinson of Saginaw, MI and Dr. Rizwan Danish of Flint, MI.
