Mr. Naeem Abdullah

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-great-grandfather and uncle, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Na’eem M. Abdullah was born June 22, 1937 in Greenville, Mississippi to Robert and Elizabeth Williams. Na’eem graduated from New Brunswick High School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He migrated to Saginaw, Michigan in 1965 after serving four years in the United States Marine Corps. He also earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from Delta College. Na’eem M. Abdullah was a loving, caring, honest and Godfearing man who loved Islam. He also loved his wife of 40 plus years, Debara. He was an avid reader, a published author who loved to play chess and spend quality time with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Debara Abdullah. Nine children, Carol (John) Burton, Ewing, NJ, Joanna Rowson, Browns Mills, NJ, Roseanna Hayes, Trenton, NJ, Kamilah (Terry) Williams, Salimah Abdullah, VA, Felicia Hinton, Southfield, MI, Taherra (Aivars) Warren, Dayton, OH, Fatimah (Muhammad) Nasir, Decatur, GA, LaBriana Burton, Hampton, VA. Grandchildren, Jerel Williams, Trenton, NJ, Corey (Amber) Rowson, Virginia, Christopher (Jacinda) Rowson, New Jersey, Derrick (Josefa) Hayes, Virginia, Emily Hayes, Amir (Nanu) Abdullah, Virginia, Niles King, Aivars II, Nyimah, and James Warren, all of Dayton, OH, Idris, Zain and Noah Nasir, Decatur, GA. Brother-in-law, Roy (Yvonne) Hinton, Jr. Sisters-in-law, Thelma (Donald) Johnson, Inez (Elvie) Summerall and Cynthia Jones, all of Saginaw, MI; nieces, Melia Clark, Phyllis Lemon and Vanita J. Clark, Seattle, WA. Many other relatives and friends including, special friends, John Burnell and Imam Robert Abdul Shaheed. Mr. Abdullah was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taneya Williams; his mother, Elizabeth Williams; father, Robert Williams; brother, Rev. James W. Clark; grandmother, Carrie Warren; aunt, Dora McGhee; his stepfather, Huey “Daddy Snoop” Williams. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Muhammed A. Khan and the Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab staff. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607. Imam Robert Abdul Shaheed will officiate with interment in Chapel Hill Mausoleum & Cemetery, 6476 Midland Road, Freeland, Michigan 48623. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607 on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
