Mr. Nehemial "Antoine" "Deboe" Grice

Mr. Nehemial Antoine Grice was born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 17, 1977 the son of Nehemiah Blakely and Christine Grice. He passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 45 years. Nehemial was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He received his education in the Saginaw Public School System and completed his education at Saginaw High School. Mr. Grice was a kind hearted person, he would give you the shirt off his back. He loved sports and the LA Lakers was his #1 team. Mr. Grice enjoyed going to the casino, watching TV or simply just hanging out. He especially loved being with his friends and family. He adored his children and grandchildren they were the love of his life. Mr. Grice leaves to cherish his memory two children, Marshall Burns and Christopher Grice; three grandchildren, Lylen Burns, Toy Ducre and Marshell Burns, all of Saginaw, MI; mother, Christine Grice, Saginaw, MI; step-father, Luther “Pops” Brown, Flint, MI; aunts, Yvonne Grice, Maxine Burton and Lottie Archibald, all of Saginaw, MI including special aunts, Wanda Hughes, Troy, MS, Sheryl Thomas and Berta Ford, both of Saginaw, MI; uncle, Robert (Veronica) Grice of Saginaw, MI including special uncles, WC (Pearlie) Grice, Detroit, MI and Carl Burton of Saginaw, MI; cousins, Tyrone (Faith) Grice, Calista Burton, Carl Burton, Jr., Jaleeah, Dominique and Temarus Grice, Joyce, Sheila and Sharquice Archibald; brother-in-law, Louis Brown of Hart, MI; many other relatives and friends including the neighborhood family and friends, the Blakely and Pritchett families along with many other relatives and friends. Mr. Nehemial was proceeded in death by his father, Nehemiah Blakely; grandparents, Austin Head, Sr. and Lila Head; great-grandparents, John and Martha Grice; aunts, Ola M. Stewart and Betty Grice; uncle, Joseph, Archibald; cousins, Lovell and John L. Green and John C. Grice; friends, Quay Jones, Marcel Huffman, Tanya Wilson, Donald Perry, Sr. and Donald Perry, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor Burton and family for all the love and support. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Pastor Eugene Burton will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
