Mrs. Nora Fenn

On Wednesday, February 1, 2017, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with our Heavenly Father following a brief illness. Mother Nora was born October 27, 1931 in Brundidge, Alabama to the late Simon and Olivia Meadows Morris. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren and was a lifetime member of the Church of God in Christ. Nora attended World Outreach Campus in Saginaw, MI where she served as Church Mother and President of the Mother’s Board. She also served as a member of the Women’s Christian Council, the Sharing and Caring Committee and the Hospital Sick Committee Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Carolyn (Willie) Taylor, Annie Orange Fenn, David Fenn (Carol Garrett), Marvin Fenn (Cassandra Cross), Vivien Fenn, Vivica Fenn and daughter-in-law, Debra Fenn; grandchildren, Elvis (Dorothy) Antwine, Troy Antwine, Jermaine Orange, Taki Blackmon, Kishon (Greg) Gardenshire, Steve Herd, Tamika Herd Billingsly, Terrance Floyd, Bernay Floyd, Anthony Charles Coleman, Reginald Lawrence, Lekeyta Robinson, Dion Richardson, LaShonda Fenn and Jason Pearson; special great-grandson, Taki Blackmon, Jr.; forty-seven more great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Annie (James) Henley, Savannah Caffie, Janie Coston and Angenst Bond; brother, Willie (Della) Morris; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; Nora’s special friends, Laveda Houston, Missionary Josphine Bady, Mother Smith, Elder John Rhodes, Pastor Hurley Coleman, Jr., First Lady Sandra Coleman and the entire church family of World Outreach Campus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Fenn; three sons, Charlie Fenn, Jr., Johnnie Fenn and Willie Fenn and daughter, Debra Fenn Blackmon; parents, Simon and Olivia Morris; two brothers, Kyser Morris and Willie Morris . Mother Nora will be greatly missed by many. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at World Outreach Campus, 2405 Bay Road. Pastor Hurley Coleman, Jr., will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue on Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Family will be present to greet friends from 6-8:00 p.m.
