Mr. Rinner Haulcy

Rinner Haulcy, a cherished member of the community, passed away on August 17, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. Born on February 28, 1972, in Saginaw, Michigan, Rinner was a beloved son, father, brother and friend. He touched many lives with his infectious smile and warm heart. Rinner was the beloved son of the late Clemington Haulcy Jr. and Luella Haulcy. He grew up alongside his siblings, Anthony Scruggs and Patricia Haulcy, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. Rinner's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Rinner graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1990, where he played basketball and formed many lasting friendships. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, proudly supporting his team through victories and losses alike. Rinner is survived by his children, Briana Yost (Tyler), Rinner Haulcy Jr., Jalen Haulcy, Mikayla Haulcy and Reniah Haulcy; mother, Luella Haulcy; brother, Anthony Scruggs; aunts; Nellie McCulloh, Dorothye Carter, Ennies Foster, Alicia Haulcy, and Latrecia Haulcy Bladen; nephews, Matthew Harris and DeQuan Harris; special cousins, Winston Crosby, Jr., Allen “Dinky” Haulcy, Sylvester Haulcy, Cecil Peoples, Denise Campbell McCulloh, Tabbatha McCulloh, Tomicka McCulloh and Toina Williams; god-sister/cousin, Vera McCulloh-Pratt and god-brother, Chris Cork; a host of family and friends including special friends, Julie Gutierrez, Eric Moore, Frederick Moore, Charles Cork, Ronnie Askew, Teruo Gibson, Prentis Phillips, Mike Phillips, and Steven Reid; he also had a special place in his heart for Jasmine Sanchez, Jeremy Sanchez, and Milani Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, Clemington Haulcy Jr.; sister, Patricia Haulcy; grandmother, Frankie “Mama Frankie” James; grandfather, Clemington Haulcy Sr.; uncles, Rinner Slack and LC Harris; aunts, Ada Thomas, Crease Mae Harry, Margiree Hall, and Loretta Wyche; good friend, Ronald Gaddy. The Haulcy family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the calls, texts, messages, and visits during this difficult time. Your love and support have been a source of comfort and strength. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this new life without our beloved father, son, brother and friend. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Christ Image Community Church, 4735 W. Michigan, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Eugene Burton will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave. Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will take place from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2026 at the funeral home. Family will be present from 5:00-6:00 p.m. during the family hour.
