Mrs. Stella Marie Love

Our loving devoted mother, Stella Marie Love passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the age of 82 years. She was born on March 10, 1937 in Brownsville, TN the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Walker) Rose. Stella retired from Saginaw County Commission on Aging. She loved helping others, cooking and being with her grandchildren. Stella Love was loving and happy in Christ, and was the best mother and grandmother anyone could have. “Nothing but love”. She loved playing cards, traveling and enjoyed going to the casinos. She was a very well-dressed lady who really enjoyed shopping and cooking for her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters and four sons, Iveory Mae Morris, Saginaw, MI, Joseph (Viola) Love, Shreveport, LA, Bertha Love, Saginaw, John W. Love, Decatur, GA, Frank Darnell (Alma) Love and Doris Ann Rose, both of Saginaw and Jerry Wayne Rose, Houston, TX; grandchildren, Stephen (Rachel) Hill, Andrew Rose, Nathaniel Morris, Iveory Nichole (Maurice) Perkins, Lashanda Love, Omar Rose, Deondra Rose, Billy Ware, Jr., Tennelle Love, Joslyn Love, Ny’Ara Love, Sonney Holes, Christopher and Jonathon Morris; 13 great-grandchildren, including special great-grands, Jadaurius Tucker, Damiron and DeVarion Dennis; an adopted daughter, Stacy Erwin Oakes; three sisters-in-law, Novella Fredrick, Elnora Yarbrough and Dorcelia Rose, Jackson, TN; one aunt, Mildred Snipes, Milwaukee, Wi; an uncle, Nathaniel Walker, Dakota, OH; one brother-in-law, Willie Love, Jackson, TN; a many special nieces and nephews, other relatives including special friends, Elizabeth Taylor (60 years), Mayor Wilmer Ham-McZee (over 40 years) and longtime friend Billie Curry. Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Love; parents, Frank and Bertha Rose; daughter, Linda Fay Love; grandsons, Damon and Deondra Love; father and mother-in-law, Will and Annie Mae Love; one brother, Buddy Rose; sisters, Dorothy and Clara Mae Rose; brothers-in-law, Raymond, Charlie and James Love and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bond and Venilla Moore. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Mulpuri and Hospice Care. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 810 Cathay Street, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Blake Strozier will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Friends may call at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N.
