Mrs. Tamika Tiante Trice

Mrs. Tamika Tiante Walker Trice was born October 14, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the proud parents of William “Brah” Harris and Brenda Joyce Clark. She passed away, May 4, 2023 at the age of 51 years. She gradated from Muskegon High School. Tamika was a successful beautician and cosmetologist. She earned a Cosmetology Degree and owned two successful businesses. Tamika was highly intelligent, also earning a degree in Christian Studies from Bethel University. She was kind, caring and had a passion for reading, singing and cooking. She was an excellent Culinarian and enjoyed preparing food for her family and friends. Tamika was a loving wife and a giver. She was perfected in loving people and stretched herself to serve them well, never looking for anything in return. Her love for family was fierce. Roderick, Tamika’s husband says, “She was a beautiful and loving wife”. He, along with their daughters, Aliyah and Aijah were her priority. Their family unit was led by God’s Ruach Hakodesh “the Holy Spirit” through her husband, Roderick. Tamika surrendered her life to the Lord at seven years old. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. As she grew in Christ, she faithfully served at New Generation Apostolic Church under the leadership of her parents, Elder Mosby Clark, and Brenda Joyce Clark. Her faith never wavered. Tamika leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Roderick DeWayne Trice; daughters, Aliyah May and Aijah May; son, Jonathan Roderick Trice; father, Rev. Mosby Clark; sister, Demishea McKnight; brothers, Antwand (Kerry) Turner, Pastors Steven (Esther) Clark and Mosby “Lil Mo” (Mel) Clark; sisters-in-law, Phalean Brown and Tangila Michelle Trice; brothers-in-law, Cornell Sean Kelly and Manvel “Mannie (Caressa) Trice III ; grandmothers, Hattie Doxie and Lois Elizabeth Hall; fathers-in-law, Samuel James Kelley and Elder Manvel Trice, Jr.; a host of many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends including special friends, Tressa Dilworth and Ingrid Hamilton. Tamika was preceded in death by her biological father, William “Brah” Harris; mother Brenda Joyce Clark; twin sisters, Setrina and Sabrina Clark; brother, Eric DeShawn Clark; grandparents Bobby and Barbara Jones, Eddie Harris, L.C. Hall, Sr. and Samuel (Elizabeth) Kelley, Sr.; mother-in-law, Mary Etta (Hall) Trice. Funeral service will take place at 12 PM on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48607. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Charlene Washington will officiate with interment in Great Lake National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442.
