Terry "Tweet" Baskin

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Browne's Mortuary, 441 N. Jefferson Avenue. Elder M. C. Baskin will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Terry Bernalle "Tweet" Baskin passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the age of 42 years. He was born August 8, 1968 in Saginaw, MI, the son of Elder MC and Johnnie Mae (Hatchett) Baskin. Terry was a graduate of Buena Vista High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was very passionate about helping others. He enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. Terry was an awesome father and companion. He leaves to cherish his memory, his spouse, Denise Liddell; four daughters, TaRaeha Baskin, Terri'A Baskin and TaMya Baskin, all of Saginaw, MI and Shavonna Baskin of Hammond, LA; his parents, Johnnie Mae and Elder MC Baskin; three sisters, Pearl Hatchett of Philadelphia, PA, Barbara (Theodore) Woods of Saginaw, MI and Mickey Washington of Detroit, MI; two brothers, Thomas Baskin of Pontiac, MI and Timothy (Tiara) Baskin of Saginaw, MI; five nieces, Jamellah Woods, Crystal Cope, Chandonae Baskin, Meyara Parker and Janelle Payton; six nephews, Donta Woods, Lance Cope, DeMarco Baskin, Shaquille Baskin, Timothy Baskin, Jr., and Thomas Baskin, Jr.; two aunts, Jessie Hatchett of Philadelphia, PA and Mary McCall; two uncles, Clarence (Mary) Hatchett and John Henry (Gloria) Hatchett of Haines City, FL; mother-in-law, Patricia Liddell; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Liddell and Camill Liddell; many cousins, other relatives and friends, including special cousin, Fieanda Owens and special friends, Matthew Harris, Dennis Johnson, Mitchell Ezell, Melvin Calhoun, Bryon Baynes and Kevin Mills. Terry was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Cope; five aunts, Annie Allen, Bertha Harris, Carrie Holmes, Margaret Ivory and Mattie Baskin; three uncles, Calvin Hatchett, George Baskin and James Baskin; stepmother, Catherine Baskin and cousins, Anthony Barker, Charisse Hatchett and Annette Hatchett.
