Mr. Timothy Darnell Robinson, Sr.

Timothy Darnell Robinson Sr. was born on May 3, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Annie Strother, Clifton (Buddy) Strother and Curtis (Maria) James Robinson. He passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 54 years old. Timothy was a proud Marine Veteran (Semper Fi). He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and Central Michigan University with a Master’s Degree in International Business. He had a career in upper management at The Sheraton Hotel, Don Pablos, and FedEx. He had extensive knowledge in the world of business and often brainstormed and shared ideas about new ventures. He was an amazing cook and knew his way around the kitchen as he often experimented with new recipes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, adding all the best songs to his playlist, and traveling to some of his favorite places like Florida, California and Cabo San Lucas. Timothy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, De'Vona Robinson; children, Timothy (Claire) Robinson II and Brianna Robinson; Parents, Clifton (Buddy) and Annie Strother; mother-in-law, Kathy Hamilton; father-in-law Willie Wright Jr.; godchildren, Airiana Hamilton, Victor Alston, Madison Alston-Jones; cousins, Shadanna (Donald) Mason, Addison and Rylee Mason, Shamya, Ebony, Christopher and Shane Koger; sisters, Tyre Robinson (Bobby) Hawkins, DeLise Robinson (Otis) Bowers, Devia (Hakeem) Oshikoya and Desarae Robinson; brothers, Von Robinson, Jason (Lauren) Robinson and Travis Bethely; step-brothers, Clifton and Robert Strother, Anthony (Wonnie Terrell) Strother, stepsisters; Gail (James) Herman, Tracey Reynolds and Theresa (Vince) Paschal; close friends, Dion Alston, Curtis Brown, Chris Murray, Damon Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Vera Koger; uncle, Robert Koger and aunt, Lucille Koger. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Minister Charles Davis will officiate with interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48422. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.
