Ms. Tracie Lynn Rivers

Ms. Tracie Lynn Rivers was born September 29, 1971 the lovely daughter of Albert Rivers III and Joyce (Brandon) Rivers in Saginaw, Michigan. She passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 53 years. A graduate of Buena Vista High School Class of 1989, Tracie lived a full life with family and friends. She loved riding motorcycles, fishing, (a skill that her Grandpa Rivers taught her when she was young), going to concerts and watching NBA games. Her favorite team was the Boston Celtics. Tracie enjoyed traveling and had excellent Bar-B-Q skills. She was an awesome person to be around and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Tracie was dedicated to her family, especially her nieces and nephews, Maya and Morgan Watson, Onte Jovon Myrick, Deontae Jones, Taylor and MacKenzie Myrick. She was a free spirit and lived life on her own terms. She was one of a kind and the fun began when Tracie arrived. She was a direct person and you never had to wonder how Tracie felt about life or people. Tracie leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Joyce Rivers; father, Albert Rivers III; sisters, Latrece (Marcus) Watson and Michelle Myrick; brother, Christian Anderson; a grandmother who she loved very much, Katherine Rivers, Florida; aunts, Rose Hall, Saginaw, Carol Johnson, Pittsburgh, CA, Gwen Gilmer, Diane Connor, Cheyenne Rivers all of Saginaw, Debra Rivers, Florida and Sherrie Corbin, Detroit, MI; uncles, Phinas (Doreen) Rivers, New York, Cas Rivers, Florida and Kenneth (Patricia) Fuller, Saginaw; special cousins, Regina Phillips, Alton (April) Wicker, Dawn Doster, Courtney Johnson, Stephanie Copeland, Lataya Rivers, Kenosha Abby, Melvin (Maxine) Griffen, Hollywood, Nina Gardner, Monique Gardiner including cousins, Aurela and Quiney Hall, the Gardner twins, John (Grace) Gardner, Phelan Johnson and Tony (Markesha) Rivers; other special friend and relatives, Brandy Jackson, Kenesha and Eric Jones, Ruby Sumler, Calvin Lewis, Dee Foreman and Leola Holmes, Cynthia, Katherine, Chalise and Michelle Rivers, Kesha (Carroll) Dowster, many other relatives and friends.. Tracie Lynn Rivers was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Jerome and Emma Brandon and Albert Rivers, Jr.; uncles, Melvin Carroll, Ricky Rivers and Sidney Morris; her favorite aunts, Minnie Morris and Ida Underwood, Willa May Hendrick and Mary Rivers; special cousins, Mamie Doster, Cassius Montgomery and Desiree Perkins; special friends, Doug Johnson “Cookie” , Byron Holiday and Albert (Baby Al) Rivers IV. The family expresses special thanks to MyMichigan Saginaw 4th floor Oncology Department, Compassus Hospice Care and extend love and thanks to Dawn Doster, Jovon Myrick and Regina Phillps. Memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2025 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Dr. Willie F. Casey will Officiate.
