Mr. Venus Junior Weston

Mr. Venes Junior Weston our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle passed over into eternal life on July 11, 2023 at the age of 74 years. Venus was born January 3, 1949 to Venus Weston and Eddie Mae Weston. They preceded him in death. He graduated from Carrollton High School, then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in 1967. Known to many of his friends and family as “Moe Man”, Venus Weston retired from the Saginaw Malleable Iron Plant, General Motors Corp. and was a member of UAW Local #455. He was a member of the Soul Survivors Motorcycle Club, and had an affinity for watching sports with (friend/brother) JR. they would be on the phone during the game until the final score. He loved spending time with his grandson Carter, whom he affectionately called "Peanut." He was a man who loved his family and friends, Venus would do all he could to help those in need selflessly. Venus will be forever missed by his children, Venus John Billingsley III, Rachel Weston and Rebecca Rivard; his partner Renee Rivard; his grandchildren, Nichole Billingsley, Leigha Loomis, Michaela Lee, Carter Redfern, Jasper Billingsley, Aurora House and Skyleigh Zanger; great-grandchild, Matteo John Billingsley; six sisters, Daisy (Benjamin) Furlough, Jule Hudson, Linda McLemore, Jenell Thomas, Jeanette Vaughn and Judy Weston; four brothers, Vernon Weston, Donald Weston, Jimmy Weston and Jerry Weston; an unnumerable amount of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially those close to him such as Willie Kid, Terry Jones, Pete, Charles Wilson and Daryl Chapman. Other than his parents Venus Junior Weston was preceded in death by his son, James Michael Rivard; two wonderful sisters, Vera Mae Johnson and Grace Jean Randolph; two brothers, Henry Weston and Wyman Weston. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Min. Donald Weston will officiate. Interment will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
