Mr. Willie Snow, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Willie C. Snow Jr. while surrounded by family and friends, peacefully transitioned to a golf course in heaven on September 9, 2024. Willie C. Snow Jr. was born on November 9, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and moved to Saginaw, Michigan, at an early age. Willie was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and best friend to many whose impact on those around him will be forever cherished. Willie was known for his unwavering commitment, strong sense of responsibility, and devotion to his family and friends. Whether driving all over the map watching his children’s and granddaughter’s sports teams, offering wise advice, or sharing his stories, which often started with “my buddy (insert name).” Willie was the rock of his family, literally a “rock,” hard and strong, often seemed unbreakable. His dedication to his wife Connie, his children Tiffany and Amber, and grandchildren Jordyn and Savannah were central to his life. Willie was proud to serve in the United States Air Force. He also had a long career at General Motors and Delphi prior to his retirement, but he always made time for his many hobbies. A man of many talents, Willie had a passion for any and everything golf-related. He enjoyed golfing, watching golf, traveling, sporting events, live music, old movies, solitaire, and serving in various community and church groups. Willie is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his children, Tiffany (Travis) and Amber; his grandchildren, Jordyn and Savannah; his sister, Pamela Green; his mother-in-law, Delores Wilson; sisters-in-law, Kimberly Bond (Steve) and Cheryl King; brother-in-law, James Wilson; nieces, Gwendolyn Jones and Courtney (Patrick) Winter; nephews, Quentin (Sonya) Snow, Preston (Whitney) Snow, Christopher Bond and Robert King II and countless other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie C. Snow, Sr. and Lavenia Snow; brothers, Preston and Aldridge Snow; sister, Deidra Snow; nephew, Tyrone Cannady; niece, Joyell King; brother-in-law, Robert King and a very special friend/brother-in-law, Gary Bond. A celebration of Willie’s life will be held on September 16, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw, Michigan, where he was an active member for over 30 years and a volunteer usher for many years. Boo/Padre, you will be forever in our hearts. Your love will continue to guide us, and your memory will bring us comfort and strength. Forever Poochie and Your Girls Family hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 N. 6th Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Father Frank Voris, O.F.M., Cap will officiate with interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, G4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442.
