Mrs. Adell King Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Adell King, age 77 years went to meet our Lord and Savior on December 4, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan after a short illness. Adell was the daughter of the late Charlie and Emma Gibson of Panola, Alabama. Adell was united in Holy Matrimony to William King. She was a devoted wife, and also a mother of four children. She loved being a homemaker, cooking delicious meals and having family gatherings. Her hobbies were gardening, fishing, sewing quilts and cooking family meals. Adell became a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Roosevelt Austin after accepting salvation. She was active in the Mass Choir. She later moved her membership to Christ Disciples Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie J. Benson. Mrs. King leaves to cherish her memory four children, Derbrue (Clif) Moore, Frank Hudson, Linda Hudson and William King all of Saginaw, MI; a step-daughter, Yolanda Haulcy, Milwaukee, WI; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Sallie Gibson, Ida Marlow and Linda Williams all of Saginaw, MI; brother, Earlee (Alma) Gibson of Alabama. Adell King was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Emma Gibson; brother, Charlie (Geredine) Gibson, Jr. The family would like to thank Covenant Medical Center ICU Nurses for their great care of our mother. Funeral service will take place Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Pastor Genevieve Benson will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
