Alma Lee Buford was born July 3, 1961 in Tunica, Mississippi to Napoleon and Eulla (Jackson) Buford. She passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2020. Ms. Buford was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed walking, fishing, and listening to the blues. She loved her family and helping other people. Alma was a real friend to have around. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters and two sons, Elbona Buford, Indianapolis, IN, Tanika Buford, Saginaw, MI, Carolyn Buford, Chicago, IL, Jerome Buford, Indianapolis, IN and Larry Cortez Turner, South Carolina; grandchildren, Damerion, Anthony, Kiana, Quita, Meka, Niyah, Tookie, Lil Pete, Dariyon, Diamond, Miyah, Lil Jerome, Carol, Eric, Baby Ant, Ashtyn, Jaiden, Josiah, Kamariyae, Shaneka, Brieyaunna, Aiereyonna, Kameron, Treiyvon and Trayvon; her mother, Eulla Lee Buford; sisters, Christine Jackson, Brenda and Joanne Buford; brothers, Senarchi, Gilmer, Eddie, James and Alonzo Buford; sons-in-law, Pete and Derek; sister-in-law, Temple Milsap; brothers-in-law, Eddie Lee Jackson, Donnie Jackson and Darryl Griffin; nieces Tanya, Sonya, Eulla, Kristie, Antoinae, Ieshia, Tyeisha, Laquisha, Theresa, April, Tiara and Tempie; nephews, Sean, Dominic, Charles, Demetrius, Danny, Hugh, Tyrone, Stepfone, Lil Eddie and Lil Gilmer; cousins, James, Earnest and Persie Buford, and Minnie Ewing, many other relatives and friends including special friends Derrick Jackson, Lee A. Davis and Leroy McClinton. Ms. Buford was preceded in death by her father, Napoleon Buford, sisters, Magnolia and Shirley Buford and Monnie Jackson; brothers, Robert, Henry, Milton and Napoleon Buford, Jr. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. A private service will be held. With interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48601.
