Ms. Annie Ruth Kelly transitioned on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the age of 68 years old. She was third of 10 children born to Louis and Ruby Weems, Sr., in Saginaw, Michigan. She was the mother of two children, Dena' and Kendrick Kelly. Annie was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Class of 1970. She was a very hardworking mother until she became disabled. She grew up attending Christ Community Church. Annie leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Dena' (Sharon) Kelly of Charlotte, NC and Kendrick (fiancé Laura Garcia) of Saginaw, MI; grandchildren, Kayden and Kayla Kelly of Saginaw, MI, Ashley Kelly of Columbus, OH, Chrya Kelly, Arian and Skylah Banks and Breanna Meeks, all of Charlotte, NC; great-grandchildren, Isaivier Jackson, Blake and Briella Sebastian, all of Columbus, OH; six sisters, Ruby McGee, Dorothy (Andrew) Scott, Juanita Weems, Sandra (Daniel) Chaffer, Deborah Weems and Rolonda Walker; two brothers, Louis Weems, Jr. and Ricky Weems Sr.; sister-in-law, Evelyn Weems; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a host of aunts and uncles; god-children, Sheena Weems-Mitchell and Jacinta Haley; god-sisters and god-brothers, Asst. Pastor Audrey Parker, Shirley, Angie and Charlie Townsend, Rockielle and Kevius Frazier. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruby Weems, Sr.; brother, Willie (Peter) Weems; niece, Adrian Weems and friend Charles Hollis. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. A private service will be held with Asst. Pastor Audrey Parker officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48601.
