Ms. Beverly Jean Harris

February 23, 1953 - May 19, 2022

Beverly J. Harris was a native of Saginaw, Michigan, and was born to Robert and Elizabeth Harris on February 23, 1953. Beverly was the only daughter and second of the five children born to her parents. She passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Beverly received the Lord through baptism at Corinthian Baptist Church at an early age. She attended Saginaw Public Schools, where she graduated in 1971 from Saginaw High School. She went on to continue her education at Delta College. Ms. Beverly Jean Harris leaves to cherish her memory three brothers, Clifford, Thomas (Angie) and Hubert Dale; nine nieces; seven nephews; 28 great-nieces/great-nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. She was loved and cherished by everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Syed. The Harris family thanks the staff of Medilodge of Frankenmuth for their skilled nursing care during Beverly’s illness and Alonzo Betts and the Evans & Browne’s Funeral Home staff. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Bishop Ronald Stanley will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Family will be present from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
