Ms. Darlene Lisa Williams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Darlene Lisa Williams was born March 22, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to Brady and Ethel (Rowe) Williams. She passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the age of 65 years. Ms. Williams loved her children, family and entertaining. She loved to party, crack jokes and play the lottery and bingo. Darlene enjoyed listening to the oldies but goodies on the radio and playing her favorite cassettes daily. She could turn a gloomy day bright and was known as “the life of the party”. She saw life as a celebration and everyone in her presence knew, “Go big or go home”. She supported her children and grandchildren in every way possible. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, homemaker, aunt and friend. Ms. Darlene Lisa Williams leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Marcus (Tifany) Williams, Terrance (LaCresha) Williams and Yasmin (Leandro) Juarez; three grandchildren, Marcus Williams II, Jaidyn Williams and Leandro Juarez, Jr.; three sisters, Brinda K. Laury, Wanda (J.C.) Williams and Janice Williams; three brothers, James H. Thompson, Donald (Verniette) Williams and Kenneth (Barbara) Williams; her children’s fathers, Sheardell/Skip Abby and Daryl Currington; special friends, Valerie Champion, Evelyn Hardy, Flossie Franks, Lou Ann Fresorger and Donna Hughes; many nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Brady Lee and Ethel Williams; one brother, Brady Williams; one sister, Debra Roby; two nieces, Tonya Thompson and Jacqueline Williams and a brother-in-law, Leon Laury. The family of Darlene Lisa would like to acknowledge with appreciation and gratitude towards all who came forth to support her children and family by showing love and sending kind and encouraging words. We appreciate your presence and all expressions of sympathy. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Elder Willie Minor will officiate with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601.
